I love the camera overall!

I love the camera overall! The filters and battery and sd indicators are great. My only complaint is I wish there was a slot to change the sd card. It is currently very difficult. I haven't been successful yet. A slot would make this experience better. Overall, a fun camera to use. I enjoy the simplicity and variety it has.

I like the camera, even though it looks like a Super 8 its just a video camera. my self i don't like using my phone as much to take pictures or videos unless its something i am going to post on social media, most of the time i have my film or digital camera with me. I would give it 5 stars, but i think The eye piece/ view finder needs to improve. to be honest it looks blurry, i was hoping it had a adjustment lever like the video or super8 camera had before. i had to upload a video to make sure it was recording in focus. 2nd is the trigger button seems too flimsy, almost like it could break if pushed in too hard. it would have been better when you push the trigger that it would flush against the camera. but I think its a neat camera and cool concept. I hope the next generation if they do decide to make is something like the Canon 310XL body style or the Bell & Howell T-20xl with a foldable grip handle would be great. even a side screw mount so if you want to add a LED light to it would be cool.

I like it I do but handle grip too small for my hand,had to remove bottom grip piece, but it was worth getting for sure

I received my CS-8 camera, and so far I think it’s amazing. As a person who has actually shot film on 8mm, I think it’s the closest you can get.
My only complaint would be it not coming with a lens cap or dust cover. Thankfully I have an old 8mm camera and the dust cover fits the CS-8. Also easier access to the memory card would be something i would change.
But otherwise I love it and definitely recommend getting one!

This camera is so cool!

This camera is so cool! It really feels like the old Super-8 cine cameras (my dad had one) and it is a similar experience in use. The analog meters are quirky but functional. The switches are crisp, except the camera trigger, which lacks any feel and therefore you're not sure if it is recording or not. There is a recording indicator in the viewfinder, but - as with the other viewfinder information - hard to read while observing the scene you're filming. Also, the markings on the switches are tiny and very thin, making it difficult to read the settings.
Finally, what is sorely missing is a lens cap. As the lens has no inner lip to accept a clip-on lens cap you'll need to find one that fits the 55mm outer diameter of the lens.

We love it! We just took it on a fall break vacation and it was exactly the right thing to capture our moments without being glued to our phones. The quality is amazing!
