Love the ease of the CS-8. I shoot vintage original Super 8 video, the CS-8 build feels very comparable to use but much easier an affordable, no film developing. Love that you just plug in an instantly download. The sound is not great quality even when zooming in/out. You hear every click and movement yet distance sound is not picked up. Love the camera but the microphone could be improved.

I originally bought the cs-8 at the beginning February but the charging port was not working properly. Return and exchange of this was product was an easy process. I did have to reach out after the product made it back to the company because the status had not been updated. I emailed the support desk and they were very prompt with a response and I received my exchange within days. The new product is working great and I'm super excited for future little projects with it.

A friend lent me this camera during the Winter Photoshoots at the Nevada Northern Railway. This camera was easy to use, lightweight, and a hell of a good time. Shooting in 10 second bursts (1960/70 vibe), I managed to fill the entire storage drive while using only 40% battery. I will be looking to buying one of my own.

It’s a really cool device but the fact that I can’t seem to plug it into anything except my laptop to retrieve the data, makes me not want to bother with it. If I’m on vacation, I don’t want to bring my laptop. My phone is an iPhone 12 Pro Max and not a single data cable or connector has made contact between the camera and my phone. I hooked it into a iPhone 16 that isn’t mine and sure enough, no problems. It just doesn’t do me any good because that’s not my phone. Videos don’t show up on my tablet, either, they’re black boxes with no sound, though they’re the length of the video I recorded. This is such a great concept but not user friendly if data cables for lightning chargers don’t work, and it has to be usbc to usbc connection. Bringing my laptop on trips is not really something I want to do just to use this camera.
