Love My New AC

Loving this air conditioner so far…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good with this AC unit. We replaced an older unit that last 3 years and was also an inverter style like this one we now own. First impressions were good, maybe a tad bit louder than what I’m use to but it’s more of a loud wind noise then Mechanical noise. Performance wise it does awesome, keeps my whole downstairs cool and maintains it well, even in a 90 degree heat day.
Features wise I appreciate the air quality status, it seems to work good and gives us a peace of mind. You can notice the status change every time we vacuum by it, paint or run the ceiling fan.
Using the app is also a breeze, I like to use it to make sure at night it’s on eco mode so it keeps the house cool but not wasting electricity. Over all this is a great unit that’s easy to install and operate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet and comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed my Frigidaire Gallery air conditioner. I love how the Gallery runs 20 times quieter then most of the competitors air conditioners. It runs at a low 42 dba’s that really goes a long ways when you are trying to relax during a hot summer day. The features I like about frigidaires gallery air conditioner are that it comes with a remote to control the unit or it can also be controlled through the Frigidaire app that you can download to your phone. If the remote or apps not enough you can also hook it up to your google home or Alexa devices and control that way. The gallery also meets a strict criteria to guarantee energy efficiency performance. My favorite feature of the gallery is the cleanable dust screen that helps to keep dust out of your air and out of your air conditioner. The gallery is a very energy efficient air conditioner that comes with a lot of useful features that help you keep cool on the hottest summer days!

So Quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the same heavy, loud, window air conditioner for the last 10 years and it was finally a time for an upgrade. The Frigidaire Gallery Inverter Window Room Air Conditioner was the perfect purchase! It is so quiet sometimes I forget it's even running! It's much lighter than my old one so it makes it easier for me to put in and out on my own each season. I love that I can connect to Wi-Fi so that my room can be pre-cooled before I arrive. The dehumidifying feature is also great because it means I don't have to have a completely separate dehumidifier running in my room. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Very Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 12,000 BTU AC is very powerful. It keeps my living room very cool and has more features. It senses when there is a high amount of dust in the air and filters it out. Another feature is the swing option. It maneuvers the vents up and down to distribute the air. It connects to WiFi and I can even control it from the convenience of my phone. There’s a child lock to prevent little hands from messing up the settings. I definitely would repurchase from Frigidaire again. I’m very impressed.

Great cooling, requires some window modification

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, very happy with the performance of our new air conditioner. Installation was pretty straightforward, really liked how the side panels locked in. Felt like that really helps to keep the outside air out.
We installed in a second floor window, so putting it through and holding briefly in place did cause a brief bit of anxiety. But once in place things looked good.
The installation does require screwing into the window/frame, so may not be the best for people renting.
But overall, a great unit and performance.

Great for detached garages!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a dated Frigidaire window AC. I stuck with this brand because the older one is still a workhorse, but I wanted more remote features.
One of the main reasons I chose this model is the WiFi connectivity. I installed this in my detached two car garage behind my house. I have WiFi out there and I can now cool the garage down before I ever head out there in the Florida heat. Game changer if you deal with high heat. Being able to control it from the app is so nice, I literally can turn it on, set the temperature, and have the workspace ready to go before I even get there.
The front louver flap can swing automatically up and down which helps direct the cold air in different directions and speeds cooling down my space.
This is a 12000 BTU unit and is more than enough for a standard two car garage.
The filter is washable which is a huge plus if you have a workshop. Just wash it in the sink, let it dry, and you’re good to go.
So far extremely happy with Frigidaire and would buy this unit again without question.
