Nice mask but cooling eye pad already broke

I’ve had this 2 weeks and the right side metal eye cooler broke. Super disappointed and hoping they’ll send me a replacement. Otherwise, I love it.

TBH ... this works!!!! I have used it once and I can already see a difference. This morning I used only the eye cooling mode, and holy moly did it make my undereyes look amazing. 1000/10. Cant wait to see what my skin looks like after 8 weeks ! :)

Not actually blue light

I got this back in September/October and I got this specifically for the blue light setting. The blue light is actually blue for 1 min before turning into a purple color and ends on red light for 3.5 minutes. What the heck why is it called blue light when it’s not really blue light. This hasn’t helped my acne at all because it’s red light practically the whole time.

We're deeply sorry that the blue light of your CryoGlow mask stays on for one minute, then changes to purple. We understand how frustrating this must be, especially since you purchased the Shark specially for the blue light to help with your acne. However, when blue and red LEDs are combined, they can appear purple, but this doesn't mimic UV light effects. For acne treatment, you'll want to use the Skin Clearing mode, which runs an automated 3‑phase routine combining Blue + Infrared, then Blue + Red, then Red + Infrared over 8 minutes.

The positives: the cooling pads feel really nice. I like that it came with a bag for storage. I really like that it only touches my face on the nose and is held up by the head straps.
The negatives: 1) the fan is SO loud - the other reviews don’t talk about this enough 2) it’s heavy and for that reason it outweighs the positive of not actually sitting on your face. 3) the battery life sucks. I can probably get 5 uses then have to charge it. 4) my absolute biggest gripe is that the ref light setting is for 6 minutes max. Sometimes I’ll use it 2x in a row so I can get 12 min total but again it drains the battery faster.

Lights “bleached” vision…solution found.

I bought this for my teenage son who has severe acne. I was concerned about the intensity of the LED lights so close to his eyes. The mask has foam around the eye openings to supposedly block out light but when I tried it out, I thought the lights were too bright even with eyes closed the entire time, the light still penetrates. My son thought he’d use it would the solar eclipse film and he said the lights “bleached” his vision after using it for the 8 minutes for skin clearing. It too some time for his vision to normalize. To solve this, I used tanning bed sunnies but those weren’t comfortable as the mask pressed them into my eye sockets and they still allowed the lights from the mask to penetrate my eyelids. My next solution was to use solar eclipse glasses. These were the paper type with the sun block film so I cut and taped them to the inside of the mask. Wow, it made a tremendous difference in the lights. No lights at all. Shark needs to do this to remedy the issue with the mask affecting vision. We’re only born with one set of eyes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible Customer Service for defective product

I have really enjoyed using my Cryo Glow but am astonished at how terrible Shark Beauty customer service is. My mask was working fine until all of a sudden, the time on the settings started to change. The Better Aging setting changed to 6:22 and the other settings changed to a slightly longer time as well. I did a factory reset but this did not fix the time issue. I called Shark, opened a support ticket and was told that I would receive an email in a coupe of days. After a week, I called back and support did not have any answer for me. After speaking with a supervisor and then a manager, I was told that according to them the mask was working as it should. When I asked about the time changing to 6:22, they said the mask was adjusting to my own unique setting. I asked them where on their website/manual this info was listed and the manager did not have an answer, as I do not believe this information is accurate and actually exists anywhere. I asked them how this was still possible when I had done a factory reset and they said this was all of the information they had. Again, doing a factory reset should have fixed this issue but it didn't. Clearly the mask has some sort of malfunction gong on but Shark maintained that it was working correctly. After being on the phone with them for over an hour, I asked them to exchange the mask and they said they could only issue a refund and then I would have to purchase a new one. I am shocked at how long this entire process took and how terrible their customer service is for such a reputable brand.

Worthwhile investment!

I’ve been using this mask every day for about 3.5 months. I use a combination of the anti-aging and the acne settings each day. I have noticed a huge improvement in my skin! Pimples will be gone within a day and my skin is firmer. I had an old “divot” if you will, on my face from an old acne scar and it has been significantly reduced. I recommend this mask to everyone!
