Unfortunately, we too have fallen victim to the noted machine failures. First was leaking of water from under the machine followed ultimately by the machine not reading/recognizing/brewing pods.
The cleaning and descaling cycles were still working, but ended up accelerating the leak issue.
Nespresso was helpful/supportive in troubleshooting and offered up a replacement machine without question.
Hoping the replacement lasts longer as they really do produce a tasty cup of coffee... when they're working properly.

stopped working properly

I have been cleaning this machine how it is supposed to be cleaned and it has started to throw my coffee towards where the used coffee pods go I have wasted so much pods trying to make it work and it just doesn’t work. I really love the coffee and machine but it is so unfortunate it stopped working for me.

Absolutely garbage

I bought this a year ago, had to get it replaced, and within 2 uses the new unit is busted as well. I spend more time troubleshooting the random blinking patterns than drinking coffee. The coffee quality itself is fine on the off chance the machine works. Definitely not reliable enough to make a quick cup of coffee. At least the adrenaline rush to see if you get an incomprehensible error blink or a cup of coffee is enough to wake you up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't Buy This Model!

We've only had this machine for 2 years, and one of the years we barely used it. Now, it takes us 30 minutes to try and "clean" the whole machine out just to have 1 cup of coffee. The next time we go to use it, it will say it needs to be cleaned again (even though it just was!). Annoying to maintain, clean and definitely not worth the hassle or the price!

Worth every penny!!

The best POD machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this model for its ability to brew coffee for two and its smaller footprint. It works well and the coffee is consistently good, especially compared to that produced by a ubiquitous brand. All Nespresso coffee makers are the fastest and easiest way to brew coffee and with their large selection of sizes and flavors there is something for everyone.

Some days it makes coffee but most days it doesn’t, even after a reset. My machine is less than 2 months old and I am highly disappointed in this product.

Leaking all over / short lifespan

I bought this for my fiancé over Christmas. It was great for 2-4 cups of coffee, now it is leaking everywhere and only pours a 5th of a cup of coffee. Unfortunately she threw out the box for the machine. Any ideas on how to return / get a refund without the box?
