Time-consuming Trial & Error

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nespresso Vertuo Next in Dark Grey is very stylish on a kitchen counter or bar. The small width allows it to slip into a narrow opening but that makes it hard to reach the water container for refilling. Space is required on the side to empty the used pod receptacle. The instructions are not user friendly so it takes trial and error to figure out the machine. It does NOT indicate the machine knows how much water to use depending on the pod type. Sadly, you cannot choose the amount of water. Water stays in the pod holder and spills out somewhat when adding the next pod. Water also collects in the used pod container. The coffee is strong and not quite hot enough right away.

LOUD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this machine. It’s sleek and compact and doesn’t take up much room on my counter as opposed to the Keurig it was replacing. However, this machine is LOUD! Additionally, it seems to occasionally have trouble recognizing the pods which then leads to needing to use another pod to brew. It’s going to get expensive! Would not recommend.

Good to the last drop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely space limited in my kitchen, so I really loved how slim and sleek this machine was. It has an expensive looking design, and looks classy sitting out. Set up is easy and I appreciated the video tutorials (accessed in the instructions via QR code for ease) explaining the steps and how to operate properly. I was blown away that it only took thirty seconds to get the machine warmed up to serve after plugging it in. I hope the app is a work in progress and continues to get better, as I can see the app being imperative for use. The coffee brews quickly and was hot, but not scalding. The only thing I see as a concern is the fact I can only use the specific branded pods as the machine bases everything on the pod itself for temperature and serving size. Not being able to utilize other brands is limiting and can be a deterrent if the pods themselves are going to be expensive. I liked the overall function and features of the machine, and really enjoyed the cups I have been able to savor.

Amazing coffee with confusing process

The way the pods ejected to the holding area was confusing. The price of the pods was shocking. I will save this for special occasions

Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is amazing! I’m now saving so much money instead of going to Starbucks every week. The machine is not overly heavy. It was easy set up. Very easy to use the machine as well. Comes with a variety of espressos and coffees. They noise is very quiet for a coffee machine. Power buttons are easy to figure out too. I downloaded the app and start it from my bed in the morning- whoever thought of that is a genius! Highly recommend this machine. The espresso are rich in flavor

Delicious espresso drinks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an avid user of another pod style coffee maker I wasn’t sure there was any point in owning the Nespresso Vertuo Next, but I have definitely changed my tune.
Pros- The espresso pods are perfect every time. Not like the White Mocha I get from a certain Coffee Shop, that seem to be hit and miss. I feel like there are so many options for barista style drinks at home. The pods automatically slide into a storage compartment when placing a new one in, avoiding the dripping empty pods. I have been pleased with every coffee drink I’ve tried so far. The interface is super easy once you set it up. The pods list the serving size it will produce and if you want to change it to a slightly longer or shorter pour you can do that in the app. It sounds overwhelming but once you’ve done it there’s no issue.
Cons- The machine is pretty loud while in-use. Sometimes I worry I’m going to wake my family. The pods are relatively expensive compared to my other pod coffee maker BUT relatively cheap compared to picking up coffee out. The compartment to put the pod in can be slightly difficult to open and close. Not a problem for me but certain people that struggle with hand strength may notice some difficulty. The different types of espresso’s were a little overwhelming for me to decide what to get.

Overall, I am very pleased to own this product. My home white chocolate mocha’s have never tasted better.
