One problem specifically I was trying to solve by not getting another Google Pixelsnap Ring Stand is that they do not have a divot where the metal ring meets the case in it's resting position, and it is very difficult to lift away from the flat of the case because I do not have extended fingernails to secure purchase underneath the ring. However, this has the same design flaw. I borrowed a friend's dremel to carve a divot into the ring myself to fix the design flaw. After my own modification, it is easy to use.My old phone before I got a Pixel also used a popsocket, and I was tempted to use the finger grip part to be secured into my popsocket car mount, but the area that provides the extension of the finger grip area is very flimsy and easily damaged by holding the phones weight the vice of a popsocket car mount. It seems that it offers some feel of having a popsocket, but is clearly less durable in that area than a pop socket is.
I love the usefulness of the product but it does not wirelessly charge through it very well. So I end up taking it off to charge and forget to put it back on. Also, you gotta work on the shipping speed
The Snap Grip Stand will VERY well to the back of the iPhone.HOWEVER, no other MagSafe device will hold well to the Snap Grip Stand. In other wordsm you can't use it in your car with a MagASafe mount without taking the Snap Grip Stand OFF as every single bump the car hits it falls off the car mount! This product, in terms of MagSafe usability, is a MASSIVE downgrade from the regular Oh Snap! which will stick solidly to ANY magsafe mount!!When they FIX the Snap Grip Stand to hold to MagSafe stands and mounts like the Oh Snap! does, THEN and ONLY THEN will this product be worth it.
