I had the original Snap grip and loved it, but felt limited when it game to how I could prop my phone up. And I looked at other solutions but they were just heavy and bulky or looked flimsy. Then I saw an add for the Grip stand and knew that’s what I needed. It does everything the original did but now I have more options on how I stand my phone up. Love the magnate on the back and how it stick to pretty much every metal surface.
I have multiple products from you all. Two car mounts. Second snap grip. Upgraded from the original one. Love it. Just recently picked up the grip stand and it’s great. Love the stand feature and still can use the one or two finger grip. Just not happy that it does not work with the car mount. I wish it did.
I am really enjoying my new silver Snap Grip Stand, especially the versatile stand feature that holds my phone securely at any angle—it’s going to be perfect for traveling. I also frequently use the one-finger grip while walking my dog, which is super convenient. However, I have noticed two drawbacks: first, the "stackable" feature doesn't work with my bedside MagSafe charger. While it sticks to the charger, the phone won't charge, so I have to remove the product every single night. Second, popping out the grip to insert my fingers isn't quite as seamless as it looks in the promotional videos; I’m hoping it just requires a bit more practice. Overall, a great product, but there is definitely room for improvement regarding MagSafe compatibility.
Incredibly useful to a degree, the little stand works great doesnt fold up while using it to prop up my phone. The area inside where the flex part connects to to outer flat "coin" seems weaker than the model before it, it's already cracked in less than 2 weeks use which isnt something that's ever happened with prior models. The only real downside and why its not getting used at all anymore is that when you use the Snap Car mount, the same new addition that made me get this model, doesnt let the magnets hold on right. Any little jolt or jump while driving under normal road conditions, or even touching the screen lightly while using navigation makes the phone drop unexpectedly. More than disappointed in not being able to use it reliably while driving seeing as past models reliability is the reason I keep buying from this brand. Hope any newer model doesnt have the stand made out of the same materials so it doesnt interfere with the magnets. Meanwhile ive resorted to using an old PopSocket which is much more bulkier but I cant have my phone dropping mid drive.
As much as I like the stand aspect of the grip, I don’t like the grip at all! The old version was so much better. I put 1 finger in the middle of the grip and it scratches me. I’m going back to the old version without the stand. - Lisa
