I was skeptical of switching from the classic snap grip to this new snap grip stand but it has already become SO handy in my day to day when I want to prop up my phone to watch something. On top of that, the ability to turn my phone vertical to record hands free also made my last concert exponentially better. I was already a massive fan of Snap Grip from my first purchase and I'm happy they keep coming out with new and improved options and designs!

Great with small flaw

I really like this grip but there is one issue that takes it down a small notch. The quality is great and the stand is incredibly versatile and easy to use, however the rotation has caused some significant scratches on the back of my case, and the coating on the back leaves behind some residue. This can be covered by the grip or wiped off but it still caused significant damage to my case. All in all I'm not too upset but I think in version 2 having the magnets stay stationary would go a long way to help this get to the next level. I've only had this for about 2 weeks and the grip for the same amount for reference in the image provided.

Everything I need

This grip stand is everything I need in one contraption — pretty amazing. I got a case thru Ohsnap, too, so the magnetic connection is strong. I’ve not had the grip come off at all. I use the stand all the time. It’s so great to have all the different functions attached to my phone all the time so I no longer have to retrieve a stand to use when I change locations. No complaints!

Had high expectations...

I was so excited to receive this new product, but so far, I’ve been pretty underwhelmed. The magnet is definitely not as strong as the previous Snap Grips I’ve used, so it gets knocked off whatever it’s attached to way too easily. I’ve only had it a couple of weeks, and I’m not convinced the adjustable stand is worth the inconvenience. Maybe I got a defective one, because the reviews had me expecting greatness. At this point, I’m debating sending it back and going back to what I had before.

My favorite grip!

I loved this grip before the stand, and now that it has a stand, it’s even better! I use the two finger mode and shelf mode the most. I put one finger through when I really need a good grip. I only wish they had a color to match with my iPhone better, but I like how it looks with the matching case! With both it does make my phone a bit heavy, but worth it for the features. I’ll be buying another color in the future. See photos for different stand options!

This thing sticks like glue to metal surfaces. Nice feature. The grip is quite comfortable and can be used a few different ways which I appreciate. They weren’t wrong about their hinge either. Other stands with hinges tend to sag when the angle gets too thin. Not this one. You can lay it out at 10° to horizontal if you want. Stays right there. I did all my research on this grip stand based on a previous version so I was disappointed that it no longer has the pass through charging. That was one of the reasons I finally got one. But, 🤷♂️, still have one of the best grip stands out there. Totally recommend. (Hope they can work out the charging thing.) ((Might want to take off the magnetic charging part in the review tags))
