Excited then disappointed...

I've been a long time user of ohsnap, to the point that every vehicle and my desk has the snap stand or snap mount. I love the functionality of the snap grip stand but it doesn't "stick" to the mounts. The stand will be great for my desk and I can remove that mount. But, it doesn't stick to the mount in my vehicles. One tiny bump this morning and my phone was on the floor of my car :(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Magnet not as strong as versions

I was a long-time fan of the original adhesive version, which worked perfectly until I had to switch cases. I was excited to upgrade to the MagSafe model, but it has been a major disappointment. The mounting magnet is significantly weaker than the previous version; it constantly slides off gym equipment, causing my phone to drop mid-set.It’s frustrating to pay a premium price for a product that has clearly downgraded in quality.

Awesome grip stand

The magnet strength keeps the grip on the phone when removing it from metal surfaces and phone mounts. This is replacing a mount I lost because its magnet would stick to the surface more than the phone. That means the magnet won’t stick to my car mount if I hit a really hard bump but I’d rather pull it off in the car than lose it. The grip and stand also work great.

Great Grip Stand

This was exactly what I needed. My favorite iPhone 17 Pro Max case did not have a grip or stand. This adds that functionality that I really like. Magnet isn’t as strong as the regular grip, but strong enough. Love the Ostand Grip Stand.

Warning to all, the outward facing magnets are incredibly weak. OhSnap CHANGED THE MAGNETS so it now will not stick to anything else. The grip stays on the phone fine, but forget attaching your phone to any sort of stand, car mount, workout machine, etc. THE MAGNETS DO NOT HOLD THE WEIGHT OF THE PHONE. Support will take forever to get back to you. Don’t buy it, you’ll regret it bad.

It’s nice as a stand, and it’s convenient that the MagSafe works through it. It’s awkward trying to open the pop socket part with one hand. And annoying that it spins around so I have to find the upright orientation while not looking at it. I find myself subconsciously not using it that much, which kind of is the purpose. But at least the phone lays flat.

Quality does not match price

Broke after less than 24 hours. So the plastic hinges are extremely thin and bend extremely easily, once bent just a little it will no longer allow the grip to close. The price is insane for the terrible quality.

Weaker Magnets???

I had the Snap Grip Luxe 4, until it broke recently. The magnets on this are abysmal compared to my old Luxe 4, it doesn't even stay secure on the car adapter.
