Kickstand is grand...magnets? Meh...

I have loved my original Oh Snap for years now and so when I saw the new one with an integrated kickstand, I had to have it!But once I received it, not as happy as when receiving my original. Everything is well designed and kickstand IS fantastic!! But the magnetic base just isn’t as powerful and it is falling off all my magnetic stands and car holders.Bring back strong magnets again!!! Otherwise it’s just meh.Eric

Great product with one glaring flaw

I love how the new grip has everything, but the magnet feature doesn’t work unless you are putting it on bare metal. Any kind of coating on the metal and it will slide down. Quite a shame because everything else about it is awesome! love that it has a finger loop and a drop down stand to prop your phone up in portrait configuration and that your phone can charge with a MagSafe charger while it’s still mounted, if you could just improve the magnet on the back to stick better to coated metals it would be perfect.

Glue sticky material comes off in the back

Glue sticky material comes off in the back where the clear and magsafe magnets meet. This is now my 3rd snap grip stand and all of them constantly have this issue. It leaves smudges on the back of my phone and you can feel the sticky glue on the back as it comes off after a few days of using it. The regular ohsnap grip does not do this. This might be a quality control issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What if you bought the original

I did buy the original. Not cheap. Not that good. I have issues with so now what if I want to buy the new one must I pay full price. Just does not make sense. I buy the old one then you come out with the new one So now what ???

Disappointed about charging

I’ve had ohsnap grips since v2 and don’t even need a new one yet but I was JUST bout to buy the new stand grip until I saw it has to be removed for wireless charging. Once that’s added, then you’ll have the perfect grip.

Love all the features, works perfectly. I'm using a Galaxy S26 Ultra with an Otterbox case with magnets integrated on the case and it attached perfect. The only details I could think: making the edges of the outside ring a bit smoother while closed and more variety of colors (looking for Insomnia Blue).
