Love it BUT!!!

Awesome new product, BUT the new kickstand doesn't allow the magnet to sit flush against the stand both on the desk mount and car mount. I use one on my desk and as soon as I set it up, the phone fell off, it does not hold as strong as the previous model. I have two desk stands and two car mounts. Please don't tell me you'll have to make a change the stands and i'll have to buy 4 new ones to adapt to the grip stand now? I'm giving you a 2 stars as the previous ones was a 5 for sure, but thought I would love the built in stand. I just read a previous review that they might have to grind down the beveled edges of their car and desk stands, but WE shouldn't have to do that. I would have hoped you guys did some Quality control. I may have to revert back to the previous version as i use this on my car DAILY! Please advise.

I’ve had this for one week and already the stand is closing itself under the weight of the iPhone Pro Max. The only way to keep it propped is to make it as vertical as possible. Also, when I tried to charge using MagSafe, it got super hot. Concerning...

The only things about this I like is the new vertical Kickstand feature. The magnet doesn't meet the strength of the 4, and the lack of charge through is an even bigger let down...I ordered another 4 and will not be using this one at Al.

S24U with UAG hex magsafe case. This is an upgrade in a sense if you looking for a stand compared to my Snap 4 lux but there is a downfall, the magnets are still powerful enough to hold onto most metal magnetic surfaces and some magsafe items but the thickness of the new grip stand makes them not as powerful to hold onto car mounts or some wireless chargers, I found that some chargers do not function but not all chargers are the same. I have some anker chargers that work great with pass through charging and then some wireless power banks from anker that do not. It really is a trial and error im sending back some power banks that do not properly work with passthrough charging/not strong magnetic pull and buying more that work well with the Stand Grip. The Ridge powerbank both has a stronger magnetic pull and charging fast wireless charger as well as having the ability to connect to your device with Built in USBC cable or a lightning port. Adding any kind of thickness to this already bulky stand would be to much I hope they slim it down in the future to make it more compatible with all wireless chargers and better magnetic to all things magsafe.

They nailed it with this one. I love the fact that I can stand up my phone in both landscape and portrait and it's very stable. The grip is convenient when holding the phone as well. Great product and a great purchase.

Incredible Innovation from ohsnap!

I have to say, the new ohsnap kickstand is amazingly versatile and useful. Previous iterations of the ohsnap grip allowed the phone to be propped up horizontally, which is great for watching shows and videos, but with the new kickstand you can support your phone vertically which is a game changer! It feels extremely comfortable and natural using the phone upright with the vertical stand and it can also be used as a tripod for taking pictures and videos. I often leave my phone propped up vertically on my desk so I can easily see any notifications I receive.Coming from an android phone with no magnets I was hesitant about the new magnetic attachment style compared to the previous adhesive from the snap 4. I was able to find very little explanation about the "android adapter" so I wasn't sure how it would work or how strong it would be so I'll mention my experience here. The adapter is a thin metal strip in the shape of the snap grip stand. It has a very strong adhesive on one side which is meant to attach to your phone. Personally, I attached the adapter to the outside of my phone case, but you could probably also attach it to your phone or the inside of your case if the case is thin enough. The magnets on the grip stand are incredible strong and attach very securely to the metal adapter. It honestly feels almost as sturdy as the adhesive on the snap 4. The grip can be removed from the magnetic adapter, but it requires some force and definitely won’t come off accidentally. I'm extremely impressed with the stability.Overall, this grip is a massive improvement over the snap grip in my opinion, and I would highly recommend. The only complaint I have is that the stand itself can be somewhat difficult to pull out sometimes since the grip is so thin and flush to the back of the phone. If there was a small tab or even an indent on the outside of the stand ring for texture it would help with being able to pull the stand out more easily. Also, the stand hinge is super strong and supportive right out of the box, but I am curious if it will wear out over time and become less rigid. Only time will tell, but I'm hoping it stays strong!

As an early adopter (since Kickstarter), I have to say I think this is the best yet. The familiar grip and now the thin, but substantial stand is a perfect combination. You guys continue to make it better and get it right every time. Kudos 👍🏾

I owned an original Ohsnap grip and loved it, but was always frustrated that I had to buy a phone case with a separate kickstand. Most of my disappointment was because the case with the kickstand was never as high a quality as the Ohsnap grip. I've been asking the company for about a year now for a stand and they always said "be patient". Now I know why - it took some time to make such a high quality grip/stand combo but this this is without a doubt the perfect companion for folks who use their phones as regularly and as many different ways as I do.
