I love the build quality, magnetic strength, kickstand strength and compact design. Its pretty flush with my camera bump. I have Grip Stand on my phone nearly all the time, except when im using wireless charging. I have a qi2 wireless charger and it says charging but its not. It will connect discount. I used the same wireless charger without the Kickstand and the wireless charger works perfectly. Pros:Excellent build.Slim.Strong magnetic strength. Sturdy. Con:Pass through charging is iffy.
While I loved my old Snap Grips, I cannot back the Grip Stand. The magnets attaching the unit to your phone are strong, but the ones that attach to magsafe devices are really weak. I can't count how many times my phone has fallen off my (oh snap) car mount after hitting a tiny bump in the road. I've cracked 2 screen protectors and have had many bruised knees from this grip. Do not recommend...
Ive had the original ohsnap grips on 2 different phones and they were great. Able to mount them on any metal surface securely. Bought this one for the convenience of having a nice stand but it doesn't hold as well to metal surfaces as my original one. For the amount I paid its a HUGE disappointment.
Backwards compatibility isn't great - otherwise, 5 stars.

This product does exactly what I wanted, how I wanted it to. It works great as a stand, as a way to hold on to the phone, and for all the uses its advertised to have. The problem with this - and with older ohsnap stuff - is backwards compatibility. I have a car mount that worked perfectly with the last couple of generations of grips. With this stand, not so much. I cut down part of the ridge surrounding the mount and that has helped with retention, but it's not perfect. I have mentioned this in other communications to the company - I believe backwards compatibility should be more of a priority.
