Seems like a step backwards

I jumped on this as soon as I saw it available. Unfortunately it feels like a step backwards. The magnet does not seem as near as strong as the snap 5. I use the ohsnap car mount and my phone had no issue sticking before, now it feels very weak in comparison. I know the snap 5 doesn't advertise wireless charging while its on but I never had an issue using wireless charging with it. With this new one because the magnet is not strong it slips down on my stand and will stop charger. The build is solid and the stand works great but having to remove the grip for charging and travel seems inconvenient at best.

I got this in a whim. However it gets really hot when using it with a MagSafe charger. Is this normal. I just don’t want it to fry my car mag charger.

I love my snap grip stand! It’s a step up from the regular snap grip. Great quality and features with a thin profile!I’ve been using the regular snap grip for years and the stand part was what I was missing the most. This product has it both! The grip part is more or less the same as the regular snap grip. Same quality, same features. The stand part is beyond what I was hoping! It’s pretty stable and it works on both portrait and landscape mode which makes it great for FaceTime calls and watching videos. What I didn’t expect though is the killer feature for me. On landscape mode it can flip the other way around so that you can use it as a stand for photos! Great for when you want to take group photos or when you want to take a full photo (non-selfie) of yourself!Now, one thing that I’d like to see improved on the next version. The MagSafe side that sticks to the phone is great, sticks pretty tightly. Unfortunately, the other side doesn’t stick as well. Whenever I try to stick it to my MagSafe charger (Apple official) it can be a struggle. I have to slowly move it up/down/left/right until it hits the sweet spot where the magnets connect, otherwise they try to repel each other. Also, be aware, the orchid color looks like a light blue on the website photos but the actual product color is a light purple. All in all, it’s a great grip stand and I recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a thin and durable MagSafe grip/stand!

This little snap on is amazing ... at first I thought it was pricey but it’s so well worth it !! I go from phone stand to magnet on the desk.. to the car all with out having to remove the back piece .

New Accessories Coming...

I suspect a new lineup of accessories may be coming, because the current ones don’t seem to provide a very strong magnetic connection. The attachments technically connect, but even a light bump can cause the phone to fall off the magnet. I tested it with a magnetic stand, a car mount, and a magnetic charging combo, and experienced the same issue across all of them. That was definitely disappointing.That said, the grip and the built-in stand are excellent. The overall build quality feels very solid and durable. It’s noticeably thicker than previous versions, but it doesn’t bother me much since that added thickness gives it a more heavy-duty, rugged feel.

Well built ligh weight, great stand

All the features of the osnap 5 but with stand we all wanted. Lightweight easy to use. Very low profile. The only thing I did not like was the snap 5 was the limited stand functions. Now that is all taken care of and the stand also gives another great way to hold it.

This is the upgrade I needed! The grip goes perfectly on my kindle so I can hold it comfortably or prop it up and use my remote page turner so comfortably enjoy it!Its thin enough that it doesn’t have any trouble sliding into my bag when I take the kindle with me!
