Good but not what I was hoping for

I like the new features of the Snap Grip Stand. It makes it nice to have a stand, especially in the portrait mode of my phone. The one downside is that it just doesn’t adhere to your phone as well. That’s really hard to give up. I had an older version that didn’t have the stand and it was amazing and stuck onto the phone securely. It’s just a toss up as to what you want do you want it really secure or do you want the features of the stand? I was hoping to have both.

Had their OG snap grip, was amazing. The new design has weak magnets. My phone falls off mag mounts all the time now. Reached out to support, no help, then bought the old style, redesigned, and still weak magnets. Very lackluster adhesive to the phone as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love It, & a note

Switched to this after using the original snap grip for years. Works great, love it & appreciate android add-on. The grip is still the best there is, love the versatility & having so many different hold options. The stand is perfect, holds its position at any angle, is way more sturdy & stable than I expected, stays put & isn't wobbly even if I'm scrolling & tapping while its standing up straight. Magnets to metal surfaces securely. Only note is it doesn't stick as well to the car mount, the classic just snaps right on, but the stand version takes some finagling, the ease of getting in the car & just kinda tossing my phone without much thought at the carmount is something I really appreciated & got used to with the original snap grip. Holds up well over the years too. Not worth deducting a star, overall its great, just gotta be more careful when using the car mount.

I purchased the original Snap Grip when it first came out and it’s worked great. I’ve always recommended it to everyone I know. This version is even better, I recommend to everyone.

The phone stand is very low profile and holds tight to the phone. I love the way the stand can be adjusted to be vertical or horizontal. The pop up grip is a good design but a little uncomfortable. I love how flat it is when put away.
