Snap Grip stand

I love the concept, except it does not magnetized through the different stands that I have gotten from you. I have one in my car and one on my desk and it will not generate enough magnet power to sit on them with that new stand. I have to take it off to make it work.

Not staying on car mount.

Its great I love the kick stand. My only gripe is that it does not want to stay on the car mount at all. I pretty bummed on that because I love using my car mount.

Works as advertised

Love that they added the kickstand to this product while maintaining the slim form factor! The grip works as before, and the magnetic attachment also works very securely and I never fear it may fall off.The only feedback I have is my phone got quite a bit hotter while charging with the snap car mount (compared with using my old adhesive snap grip). I don't know if it's the change to magnetic attachment or the addition of the kickstand, but I've been using the old snap grip for years and noticed a difference right away. Despite this I will still definitely use it though! It's the best in the market for what I need.

Stand Function Amazing - but is it at the cost of charging reliability

I love the new snap grip stand. It's the right solution for sitting at my kitchen counter watching a quick youtube video while I eat my lunch. It still allows me to use all of my magsafe attachments. I have noticed, however, that my nightstand mag safe charger is now hit or miss on charging throughout the night. I don't want to remove the snap grip for charging, so I am just more careful that the grip aligns perfectly with my charger and that I see the charging icon. I still argue that Snap is the best grip on the market and the stand is an improvement.

Amazing but lost stars due to lack of compatibility w/ mounts

I love this grip/stand; the design of the actual grip is perfect. I got my first Snap Grip in 2024 and was a total convert right away. The added stand function is so great, and I use it all the time. A real game-changer, and I highly recommend. Five stars - as long as you don't use the original versions of the car mount or wall mounts...Before I continue, please know I'm not a keyboard warrior who loves to leave bad reviews and complain. I have ADHD, and the ohsnap grips and mounts have made my life a lot easier, and I recommend them to people all the time.What really frustrates me is that this grip/stand (as well as the current version of the regular grip) do not work with the car mount or the wall mounts I got in 2024. I use these mounts constantly; I have four wall mounts around my house, and I always know my phone is on one of them or our fridge, so I'm not setting it down somewhere and losing it. To have to sacrifice that functionality for the stand part of the grip is really disappointing.I went ahead and ordered a new regular grip after seeing that the stand wouldn't mount, thinking it could just be the stand part that was messing with the mounts. I figured that even though it would be annoying, I could just switch to the regular grip when I wanted to mount it; the grip I was replacing was the version with adhesive, which would really make switching out a pain. The frustration was so real when I realized the new grip also didn't work with my car mount or my wall mounts. It feels like the magnets are almost repelling each other, and even if I do align them so they stick somewhat, the magnetic pull is not strong enough to support the weight of my phone, and it just falls right off the mount.I'm so dissatisfied with the lack of compatibility these new grips have with the former versions of the mounts. I rely on the ohsnap system so much, and it sucks that in order to upgrade to the newest version of the grips I will also have to upgrade to the new wall mounts and car mount (if it even works with the new grips; it looks like the same product I have now). For the amount of thought and development I can tell is put into the functionality of the grips, this is either a huge oversight or an attempt to get people to spend more money every time they want to upgrade just the grip.

Falls off my OhSnap car mount charger

The grip itself and foldable stand are great. However, the outward magnet is not strong enough to attached to my OhSnap car mount - it falls off the mount immediately and therefore cannot charge through the grip. So I have to consistently remove and the replace the grip every time I want to mount the phone in the car. The outward magnet should be stronger, especially to use it with proprietary products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
