I have had an oh snap on a caseless phone for about 3 years now, and it’s been great. The functionality on this one is great... but it doesn’t do charge thru for my car mount (with wireless charge thru). Honestly this defeats the purpose in my mind because to have to charge it I have to remove the grip... I wish they would make one that does do a charge thru again because it would be 1000% times more convenient. I might actually return this and go back to the old snap grip that did charge thru, then I can just leave it on forever instead of having to constantly remove it while on the move
Cool stand feature but is attach strength is lacking

The grip and stand feature is awesome. But it’s not strong enough to keep the phone attached to the car mount. I’m using the grip stand on an iPhone 7 pro w an apple woven case.
Had the SnapGrip 4 and it was great. Hated the glue-backing to it but the magnets were strong and held on to stands. This new Snap Grip Stand is horrible. It doesn't even stick well to my MagSafe stands or other metal objects. Just falls off. The kick stand is also coming loose already and collapses down and it's only a few days in. I threw away the box so I can't return it but I wouldn't buy it again for the price. I tried the popsocket's new Low-Pro Grip and it works better and is even thinner and feels better built.
It doesnt stay on phone when I stick it to something metal when I go to grab my phone off of it... i also had ny hand hit while holding it and my phone dropped while still holding the snap grip on my finger it need adhesive like the oh snap 4.. I like the idea of this... i even used the adapter ring to try to improve the magnet
I love the modifications to the new style. It's very sturdy and is so versatile. It does make your phone a bit heavier, but that's the only con I can think of yet if the grip stand was lighter I'm sure the quality wouldn't be as good.
