Old Snap Grip vs New Snap Grip Stand

I really like the new Snap Grip Stand. Very robust and functional and sturdy stand. Compared to my previous Snap Grip, I cannot charge my phone through a MagSafe phone cover with the new Snap Grip Stand in place, but was able to do so with the previous Snap Grip; I have to remove it to charge. The new Snap Grip Stand is slightly thicker and I cannot insert it in my phone mount on my bike; I could with the previous Snap Grip. The magnets on the new Snap Grip Stand are not as strong as the those in my previous Snap Grip. My phone falls off my MagSafe stand in the car when I hit a bump. When charging, inserting in bike mount and attaching to my MagSafe phone holder in the car, I remove the new Snap Grip Stand. A nuisance to do so, something I did not need to do with my previous Snap Grip.

Overall Solid, but expected stronger MagSafe connection

The grip is really cool and has a very precise finish and build. I like using the grip and the stand a lot. That being said, the magnets responsible for the MagSafe connection for mounting surfaces are much weaker than I was expecting. I have had MobArmor accessories in the past with WAY stronger connections for half the cost.

This little add-on is everything they say it is. I am just now learning how much I can use the various features and it is very well made. This is THE ONE!

Almost perfect, but not quite

The stand grip would be perfect if the grip actually stayed open and not collapse immediately when you set your phone down. You can struggle to get your fingers into the grip when you pick it up and so you’re fumbling. Very disappointing for such a great product idea! I love the stand part! It’s super convenient and works really well (so far, I just got it). One thing I hated about pop socket is that often when carry it around by the grip it would drop my phone. This magnet is powerful. Hopefully ohsnap can figure it out so I can truly love the grip stand.

Great improvement on original

Th only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the magnet isn’t as strong as the original Snap. I think the stand ring is too thick and impedes the strength of the magnet.Sometimes it slips off of things because it’s weakened. Other than that I do enjoy the stand addition.

Excellent Quality and Function

Quality, from the packaging, to the construction and feel, to the function. Well designed and well made. I attached it to my Pixel 10 pro. The magnet in the kickstand helps it to align perfectly. Magnets are the perfect strength. Stand is very staple in portrait or landscape mode and offers enough reistance to stay wherever you adjust it. I highly recommend this product.

Solid magnetic connection

I did not expect this level of magnetic connection. Tight and seamless! Well done! The kickstand is awesome! Very sturdy, crisp and great looking too. The grip part feels less sturdy but maybe it’s tougher than it feels? I am hesitant to pull it out far enough to fit my hands/fingers.

Great function, weak magnet

I decided to ‘upgrade’ my Snap Grip (which is an excellent product) to the Snap Grip Stand. I love the stand function but the magnet is a massive downgrade. I use a Snap car grip thing in my vehicle and it frequently falls off, it drops off my mag safe charger by my bed, and where I used to attach it to equipment at the gym it now just slides down or falls off. Needs a lot of improvement, I’m not that satisfied with the product.
