A game changer

Super slim but feels solid. I was on the fence because my gen 4 grip was still going strong, but jumped during a sale. Definitely using the stand far more than I expected already, although have the extra piece after so long with a round grip is taking some getting used to. Very worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love Snap

I love snap, especially with the new feature of the magnet and ease of switching from case to case. My other one snapped trying to pry it off when switching cases. I only wish they can figure out a way to keep it on while charging wirelessly without it getting too hot.

Not a good as original

I had the original oh snap mag safe and love that it was a holder and I could charge with it on. When I saw this I was excited for the ability to have a stand too. I love the grip and stand but it doesn't mag charge. Granted you can to remove the oh snap due to the magnetic attachment but the point for me was not having to do that. Hopefully the next version is better in this area. Everything else is great.

Simply the Best!

I was a bit skeptical at first, but this magsafe stand is simply the best option I've seen so far! I've purchased countless magsafe cases that have the stand built in, but they are not durable and the stand usually snaps off or there is something about the case that I don't like. Now I can just use my favorite magsafe case and snap this on the back - super! The stand is very sturdy, and durable. It is so thin that I don't notice it and it still attaches to my magsafe accessories for my car or nightstand charger. Charging seems to work just fine, although the Snap Grip does heat up a bit, so I take it off at night when on my night stand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Firm stand, doesn’t work with previous car mount

I have had ever version of this snap grip from the beginning. Th new stand is WONDERFUL, however the car mount and charger doesn’t work with it. As soon as I attach it my phone falls off when I come to a stop or make a turn. Unsure if the metal ring is preventing it so I even opened it up and it still doesn’t want to stay mounted. I reached out to support but haven’t heard back. Hoping they can resolve this issue but that has a lot of potential but is falling short on the functionality I am depending on. TBD, it would be a 5 star product independently but I bought it with the purpose for travel and comparability to previous products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn’t work with previous products

Oh snap products are great I have 2 desk holders one for my desk and one for my my bed side, I have a wall mount for outside my shower, and have 2 of the car holders but with this new Grip stand the magnets are to weak to hold my IPhone 17 max pro in a brand case up any of the previous products with any level of strength and certainty, the only product that now has a good hold on this grip is the new wall mound, if you could sell replacement heads for your previous products or something to still make the useable I would greatly appreciate otherwise this grip makes all previous products unusable, the grip and stand are great but lack magnetic power outside of sticking to the phone and metal, but for some reason not the older product accessories.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost good....

Gosh, this is difficult to write because I have loved and used every grip they've made. I'm a truck driver, and the roads in America are bumpy. Grip 5 has a strong magnetic hold to the phone, but all the magsafe mounts that I have and have used with previous Grip versions, it's so weak. Any little bump my trucks takes knocks the phone right off. And OhSnap's solution shouldn't be that I have to buy new mounts for my vehicles. Sorry OhSnap, this one was almost good.

I had the original snap grip, and I liked it better. The snap grip stand is not thinner than my camera bump out. It also needs to be pulled from the phone and adjusted to change the stand between vertical and horizontal positions; a swivel system would be better. The unit doesn't line up as well with my stand magnetic charger, and the original snap grip did. Overall, it's a good product. The simpler snap grip was a little bit better for me.
