Cool, but a shame they really missed the mark

Been buying oh snap grips ever since they were a kickstart, and have loved them. I was really excited with This new stand/grip, but after about a week of using it. I can safely say they missed the mark. Very cool concept but one of the useful features compared to other similar grips is their ability to wirelessly charge with the grip intact. Unfortunately that’s not the case any more with this new grip. Which is unfortunate because wireless charging is everywhere now a days and also ohsnap has so many wireless charging accessories, all of which I’ve purchased and now are completely incompatible with their newest design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Snap grip issues

I’m finding that the grip does not magnetize to my existing charger stand. Once I take the grip off (easily done, just a pain to do every night, then watch every morning) it magnetizes better. I’m finding the same issue with my older oh snap vehicle holder.

My favorite upgrade from ohsnap!

I've been a big fan of ohsnap since their original kickstarter days. This, by far, is my favorite product (and I keep saying that with each new release). But, the stand is sturdy and slim, and sooooo useful! My only "complaint" is that I wish it came in a nice dark blue. I'm not a green or light blue guy, so I went with the black. The hinge still baffles me and I ordered an extra as a backup because I love it so much.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can’t turn it

I have to remove the grip and reapply it in order to switch from vertical to horizontal. It will not turn while attached to the phone case. In fairness, my case is silicone (which I prefer for the grip) so that probably explains it. I recall that the oh snap cases are very ‘slippery’ so I would guess it works great on that style of case.

Love it but...

I love the grip stand and its versatility, I use it all the time on all kinds of ways but unfortunately the magnet is much weaker than the previous snap grip that I had. It regularly falls from the magnetic car mount I have (the previous snap grip never did).

I upgraded from the snap grip 4, which I loved but mine was looking a little beat up. I do like the stand on the Snap Grip Stand, it’s a great idea , super thin, and has come in handy already. My one complaint, and a reason why I may ask for a refund, is that the Snap Grip Stand is not as magnetic as the Snap Grip 4. I routinely used the Snap Grip 4 to hold my phone up at the gym, now the Snap Grip Stand barely holds on. It’s rather disappointing.

love the stand, miss the charge

It's super thin, the stand works phenomenally - absolutely HATE that it doesn't work with the ohsnap charger the way the standard grip does. Being new to ohsnap products I was most excited about that feature! and didn't realize it didn't apply to the grip stand. That's my own fault for not reading more carefully - the product itself, as advertised is great - but that kinda sux
