Thin, great stand

Love how thin this is compared to my pop socket, and love the stand. Struggling to get used to how the grip pops in and out. It often gets stuck trying to pop it in, consider about how long it’ll last with how thin the plastic of the grip is. The MagSafe doesn’t work with all my MagSafe chargers... surprisingly only my cheap chargers work and not the higher end ones. Not sure what is the cause of that. I am glad I tried it, we will see if I will stay with this brand.

Love this! I use it on a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 with a magsafe case. I also used it without the case. Works great for portrait mode! Also in landscape mode with the buttons facing up! This is huge! With other similar phone grips, the buttons were at the bottom.

2 Things Would Make This Perfect

Except for 2 things, this would be perfect. 1) I would love to be able to charge wirelessly through the snap grip without resorting to taking off the grip from the back. 2) Depending on the heaviness of your phone (I have a 17Pro), the magnetic strength varies along with the surface. I’ve attached it my metal fridge, stove, lamp pole and the side of my car. To be fair, my fridge was painted, but it held up decently until you get to the edge. My lamp pole was too thin and didn’t hold up my phone at all. The side of my car was fine if you attached to a flat portion of the panel. Once you tried to attach to a slight curve, it slipped off easily. Magnets need to be stronger and the ability charge wirelessly without removing the grip would greatly enhance the lure to purchase an improved version

I love this grip stand. I had lost the one I previously had and I tried buying a cheaper version. it was horrible so I came back to ohsnap and got another one. it’s worth the price.

I have an android phone, which adds some complexity as most wireless charges aren't compatible with this stand, so I have to remove it to charge wirelessly - no biggie.The pop-up grip for two-finger or single-finger grip is my actual complaint / disappointment. Cheap design, bent the wrong way when trying to collapse on first use, now doesn't collapse the same. One use. Super thin plastic when it could have easily been made with a more durable material & design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very well made. Very well designed. Magnet to phone is strong. Magnet to surface needs to be stronger. Easily removes for wireless charger connection (does not charge while attached). For a stand, the sleek & slim line design is awesome for the amount of function you get in return.

Weak Magnet

Get the one without this stand. The snap grip was great. I used it when at the gym. Decided to upgrade to this Snap Grip Stand. Regret it. The magnet to metal objects absolutely crap the bed. Doesn’t work. Reached out to support and they can’t provide a solution at all. Said my camera may mess with the magnetic connection. I turn my phone sideways and it still slips down the metal. Thanks team.
