Why Did I Not Get This Sooner?

Elgato clearly developed this device and marketed toward the online streamer but this tool is far beyond just streaming usefulness. This device can be used for a multitude of applications. In functionality this is really a macro-key pad, but in reality it puts that functionality into a different realm for two reasons: a) LCD buttons for custom icon/labels and killer software that just keeps getting better.
The LCD buttons themselves gives a visual and text based attachment to common and uncommon keystrokes, they are bright and, for their purpose, plenty of resolution. They have a nice tactile feel and feedback, it is just a nice/brilliant innovation.
Then comes the software. Elgato made a simple, but powerful software that runs with a smooth, small foot print and allows for easy and quick configurations with loads of functionality which is great but is not what makes the software spectacular. In their infinite wisdom, Elgato provided a SDK for anyone to develop their own plugins and share them with others.... powerful, and a great way to stimulate interest and sales in your product. Bravo Elgato, Bravo!
Though pricier than most simple macro keypads, the innovations in this product make it worth every penny. Emphatically recommend.

Game changer in every way!

I use 3 streamdecks over a 2 PC setup and I wouldn't be able to run my stream without them. The quality of the product and the software are both 10/10.
I also use them when I'm not streaming. Useful for so many different things!

I can’t believe this product

Before stream deck, I was clumsily swapping scenes, getting caught up trying to manually push automations… everything. Stream deck makes a one person show seem like an entire team is running a stream!

Used daily in VFX studio

I used the original stream deck every single day while working in I/O for a VFX company. It absolutely sped my workflow up. I had this running macros that would open putty windows and executing python commands at the push of a button that would have otherwise taken much longer to execute. It made my job of transcoding, mass renaming of files, to finally delivery of shots to clients so much faster, I couldn't live without it. When I eventually moved into the role of VFX artist, I was using the stream deck in conjunction with Nuke and assigned scripts (compositing tools) to buttons. Fantastic device! I just wish there was a lite version of the software (non-install) so that I wouldn't have to rely on the IT to update the software for me. It is sometimes difficult to get time for that.

I received my SD 6 days ago and I'm really impressed by the functions it ads to your PC. I really wish I bought it much sooner. But anyhow I'm happy to have it now.

One of the coolest and most functional pieces of tech I have purchased in a while....
This should be on the desk of every gaming content creator. From livestream control, to recording/replays/screenshots, to scenes and overlays, to lighting/audio control and even Twitch chat commands. This has streamlined my livestreams.

I bought the Stream Deck about 3 weeks ago. I am always looking for new ways to speed up my video editing workflow. The interface is incredibly simple and programming each button takes about 10 seconds. I've started to use my Stream Deck for Outlook and Word as well. It's great for any repeatable process.

I own a lot of other Elgato stuff and when I saw they made this device I needed one to help me with my productivity fewer clicks of the mouse one tap of a button can do multiple things at once the stream deck can do so much more glad I bought it worth every penny
