Very happy with my new TV, The keyboard remote makes internet very easy. Had some challenges with syncing the sound to the picture. However the ability to adjust the sound delay fixed the problem. Picture quality was fantastic. Clear view from any angle. 240hz is worth the additional cost.

This tv looks like a piece of art, and the picture is just amazing! Even the stand looks great. I had another 3D tv and had to have this one after seeing how much better it looked at the store...
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, beautiful realistic picture, excellent 3d picture
Cons: speakers distort at a moderate to high volume

Hello, I was in the market for another 60+ inch tv to replace an aging tabletop lcd we have and after doing alot of internet and in-store research ended up with the UN60D7000. At any store the Samsungs just stand out in the crowd with their overall design and a picture that just screams "look at me". After getting the set home and mounting it on the wall I was instantly in love with the way it looked even when it's off. I will say that there were some other sets out there in the same size that were priced lower but I felt I would not be happy with the performance and would end up returning them for this one in the long run so here it is. A couple things that bother me some are the light that bleeds through when watching any video source that has black bars or "letterbox" only in the bottom left of the screen. It's more of a distraction than anything but for the price I payed and seeing other less expensive tvs' not having this issue hope to find a solution or have it repaired if faulty. The only other issue I have is with the auto motion feature, it MUST be swithed to Clear or OFF to watch anything without the picture having trouble keeping up with the scenes unless you like a choppy picture. 3d is a nice feature to have but I find it to be a strain for long movies and really wish that Samsung had the Passive 3d like some other tvs I viewed because thay have no eye strain whatsoever and just seemed to have a better overall 3d effect. Maybe there could be an optional software/firmware upgrade to have the option for active or passive 3d so the actual consumer could decide witch they prefer??? That would be nice!!! OK, back to the good stuff, this tv has the best HD picture quality wether its HD Cable or Blue Ray, it looks amazing, second to none except possibly the 8000 series. The Smart Hub is nice and although my internet speed needs to be increased to fully enjoy all that is has to offer, it is nice to have all of the options it has for multimedia.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, awesome hd picture
Cons: inconsistant panel lighting, wish it had passive 3d, price

Nice TV but it has problems

I've had this set for 15 weeks and it's starting to blink lighter and darker. The corners are shaded and the middle area blinks dark shadows in and out. I've got to call customer support and see what they will do about it.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality
