Overall, a solid microwave

Overall, it's a nice looking and well functioning microwave. A few little points to note:
1. Installing - the install template is printed on the outside of the box. Really? Couldn't spring for a piece of paper? I spent 5 minutes delicately cutting along dotted lines, only to have the template off slightly when I did the install. The whole process is a bit confusing, but logic prevailed and otherwise, install was fine.
2. The display - the blue numbers are hard to see from across the room in daylight (and even at night).
3. Stovetop light - wish it were brighter and a different color temperature; I will change bulbs.
4. On my old microwave, when I set it to cook, I could set the power by selecting a single number (4 = 40%, etc.) Not on this one; you have to hit 40. Dealbreaker? No. But a change in habits, as the microwave won't start until you punch in both digits.
5. The interior - not sure how I feel about the gray interior at this point. I find it hard to see food splatter and clean it quickly.

Perfect replacement for my old Whirlpool microwave

This model is easier to use and the control panel is very intuitive. The replacement process took less than an hour from unpacking, to uninstalling, to putting the new microwave in place. Very easy and ready to use!

we bought a whirpool microwave over the range in summer 2024 and was broken in Jan, 2026. I bought another whirpool again to replace it. sure hope this one is better. handyman suggested to get the same brand for the replacement. I I had other microwave and never have any issue for owning since 10, 20 years ago.
the registration for warranty was useless unless you pay monthly fee. Unheard of.
