Great reliability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement for almost the exact same Whirlpool microwave that was in service for 18 years which we had no problems at all. I hope this new micro will perform just as well.

Shopped Until I Found the Right One

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kitchen counter space is very limited, so the best choice was an over the stove unit. I spent months researching what I wanted, how it would look/work, and what was in my budget. Spoke with friends and family about what they had, and my dad has a unit almost like this one and he loves it. I took my time reading the installation instructions and making sure all of my measurements were correct. After doing all of the prep work it took less than 5 minutes to install the unit. I love it. I have only one complaint, but that is an older person issue with the volume of the "beep". Probably something I can change to make louder, just have to take the time to do it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No happy at all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is not user friendly, Should have kept my Frigidare. Read the book, but it does not tell you what P1 and P2 mean. I have burned several things. Cooking one ear of corn should not burn. Is there anyone that can explain how to use this thing?

So far, so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it's working fine. However I do have some gripes about it. For one, it is not very well lit inside. And as far as operating instructions, there basically isn't any. It advertises a lot of features, but there's no instructions on how they work. I've gone on Whirlpools' site (as it states in the installation manual) for more detailed operating instructions. There's nothing there. Just the same as what you get in the box. But like most things, I guess you figure it out. Also, the melting feature didn't work out too good for me. Put a stick of butter in it (and set it as specified on the inside of the door). About 30 seconds later, I had liquid butter. That'll teach me to not monitor it for the first time using it. Other than that, it seems to work like it should. And for the price I paid, I'm ok with it. In the future I'll see about upgrading the lite bulb, eventhough that probably entails taking the microwave apart.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We have had our microwave almost a month now and are still getting used to it, but are enjoying it a lot. I love the fact that it has a no fingerprint finish on it, so only the glass and controls need to be wiped down as often. My only complaint would be the reheat button. I tried to get it to reheat a few pieces of pizza and the glass Kate was boiling hot, but not the pizza as much. Our old whirlpool had a button where you entered your food you wanted to reheat, and how much there was, and it did the job perfectly.
