Our old house didn't have a range hood so we were constantly setting off the smoke alarms when cooking. Had the Forno recessed vent installed and have been happy with it so far.

Power full exhaust.

It was shipped quickly, and it is a very powerful exhaust. It looks excellent and has a strong construction. The only problem is the lack of an operating system. The remote control is very weak and has to be placed very close to the unit and in one location to make it work. A strong remote control is needed, and it is also required to operate from the switch.

Beautiful product but doesn't ventilate well

We had our range hood professionally installed with a custom box so that it comes down about 1.5 feet from the ceiling. The vent sounds powerful enough, but it doesn't fully clear the kitchen of smoke or food smells. Seems like other people have had a good experience so I'm hoping Forno can help me troubleshoot this.

Not very strong suction and power quality remote

I bought this a few years ago. When cooking it doesn’t take much of the cooking steam/smoke away. I also find the remote of very poor quality. I have to hold it up high to the unlit in order for it to connect. I would like to have a wall controller instead ( and more draw power).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
