Looks great - though the mounting instructions are confusing. It says to mount no higher than 30in off the cooktop, but is sold as a ceiling flush unit. It does have the CFM to really pull some air so should be fine, but unless your ceiling is less than 3 ft from your cooktop (it isn't), that's not the greatest instructions. Other than that we love it.

great hood vent, don't lose the remote!

The on-unit controls, while perfectly functional, are not very useable when the product is recessed into the ceiling as intended, given normal ceiling height, compared to normal human height. Adding fan control option via a light switch (like a garbage disposal) or a touchpad (like a thermostat) would be an excellent improvement on an otherwise well made, and nice looking product. If you lose small remotes often, this product is not for you.
