Just doesn't get much better than this!

I did a lot of research when my wife gave me the thumbs up to buy a new tv. We thought it would be cool to have all the cool features like web, smart apps, 3d etc but the price tags were way out of our leauge. Then I stumbled upon this little gem. The picture quality is superb. It doesn't look as bright and vibrant as the LED's in the store for a reason, they want you to buy an LED. Trust me, get this baby home and tinker with the picture settings and you'll think you have an LED with one difference - the picture is way more lifelike! The TV linked right up on my home wifi and I was playing videos on it wirelessly from my Samsung smartphone and PC in no time! For the price, you cannot beat the quality of this tv and all of the features it brings to the table. You will not be disappointed!
The only thing that I'm not thrilled about is the stand. Not the sturdiest, but does the job. In my opinion, most of the tv's out there now have flimsy stands. One could always mount to the wall as well and it would look great! A lot of reviews I found complained about the lack-luster sound. C'mon people! It's like 2 inches thick! How the heck could you get speakers worth a hoot in there?! I had a sound bar anyway and don't we all purchase tv's like this for the picture ultimately anyway....?

Best upgrade I have ever made

This is an amazing TV from and amazing company. I upgraded from my 50" LCD Samsung to this television and have not looked back. I first purchased a smaller LCD from another company hoping for a great picture but nothing beats the quality and features of Samsungs products.
I would recommend this to anyone interested in great picture quality with a lot of features. I have a surround sound system hooked up to the TV as well and one of my favorite features is the Anynet system. It linked up my surround sound so I now only use one controller. I mainly use this television for Netflix instant strea,ming directly through the TV and gaming.
One of the best features of the TV as well are th color and black levels. I have never seen a TV look better than this product. Thank You again for a great experience Samsung

The features on this tv are amazing. I love being able to stream straight from my tv! I enjoy being able to share family pic with everyone, reading comments people send to me. I love being able to surf the web.... how fun is it to shop online with the images being so large! Netflix is right there and so is pandora - great when cleaning! : )

For the money this HDTV cannot be beat! I was looking for a replacement for my 42" Plasma I use in my bedroom and didn't want to spend a ton of money. I wanted a bigger smart tv, more HDMI inputs, built-in wifi, 600 Hz refresh rate and of course 3D capable. After checking out and comparing many sets from the top companies, I found this one. The picture quality is amazing! This set offers active 3D technology which offers viewing of 3D programs in full 1080p. Active 3D also allows for a greater depth when watching 3D content. Two pairs of lightweight active 3D glasses are included with this set. One big name competitor does not include the glasses with their comparable sets. This set offers a lot of bang for the buck. I would highly recommend this model to others who are looking a quality built Plasma TV with many features for an outstanding price.

Great TV with lots of features...having issues

This TV seemed to be great. It has a very crisp picture and is loaded with Smart TV apps (although you really don't need them if you have a decent blu-ray player). I've been having issues with the TV however, after only 5 months. First one of the HDMI ports stopped recognizing my cable box, so I fixed that by simply plugging into another HDMI port. Now, the TV has stopped working altogether. We were watching football today and the screen suddenly went dark. Now the TV simply attempts to turn itself on and off over and over again - with no menu or anything coming up on the screen. I've unplugged it and plugged it back in and it continues to not work. Putting in a service request with Samsung today. Annoying to have these issues already. My previous plasma lasted 6 years before I replaced it with this one. Dissappointing to have these problems already.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely blown away at picture quality. 3D is amazing. Set up was simple. Still have some to learn about all TV will do. Just the right size for our viewing area. Best purchase I have made in a long while. Can hardly wait for Nascar to crank up again. Purchased home theatre system with TV. Totally satisfied with both.

I love Samsung products I have a 52 in. I had purchased in 08 and the colors were supereb and thought it was time for me to upgrade to a smart tv and got this one. Boy am I loving it watching my 3D movies is awsome, and by the way did I say that I love this tv. great for the money...

Samsung does it again, unlike other brands. Picture quality is great and the 3D quality is even better. The apps are easy to download and use. Samsung gets it, 2 thumbs up.
