Switch Loads No More

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really a game changer for doing laundry. How many times have you started a load in the washer and forgot to switch over to the dryer? Now you can go to bed and clothes will be washed and dried in the morning.
I have done standard loads, bedding, towels and whites. All clothes came out clean and dry. So many settings to dial in the right wash and drying.
The large touch screen makes setting up easy and to control everything.
Since this version is vented, you do need the 240V, 30 amp plug.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s start with the obvious. Yes, this washer/dryer combo is definitely big and heavy. But honestly, once it’s in place, who’s moving it? (Okay, full disclosure: my husband did have to move it once to adjust the legs because we have a drip pan underneath. But that’s a one-time thing.)
Now, one thing I didn’t expect but ended up really appreciating is the detergent and fabric softener cartridge system. Just a heads-up, you’ll need to make sure there’s enough clearance at the bottom front so the little door can swing open for refilling. It's a small thing, but something we didn't think about until setup.
So here's where it gets interesting. Laundry duties in our house are split: my husband handles the washing and drying, and I do the folding. He’s a bit proud of himself right now because this unit makes his job ridiculously easy. He just loads the clothes, selects the cycle, and boom, this machine handles the rest. Yes, I’m mildly jealous, because no, it doesn’t fold too (yet!). But hey, at least he doesn’t leave wet laundry sitting in the washer for a day anymore. Since this machine washes and dries, there’s no more forgotten loads turning into mildew central.
I’ll admit I was skeptical at first, especially when it came to bulky items like bedding. But wow, it holds a lot! I was able to fit a full set of sheets and a blanket into one load, and there was still room to spare. I’m not sure how they engineered this thing, but it’s a laundry miracle.
Also, the app is super handy. It lets us know when the load is done, and it even pops the door open when the cycle ends so everything can air out. Little thoughtful touches like that go a long way.
Honestly, we’re never going back to the old-school washer and dryer setup. This machine has completely changed how we do laundry in this house. And if they ever invent one that folds too, I might actually consider giving up my half of the chore. Maybe.

Set and Forget

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed the AI Vented Laundry Combo. The #1 thing i like about the combo is that it is a combo! I can pit my clothes in the washer and don't need to worry about having to put the clothes to dry. I would too often forget to move the clothes in the dryer, that I would constantly be re-washing my clothes so they wouldn't smell. I love that i can put my clothes in the washer before I go to bed and they are ready when I wake up on the morning. The touchscreen it's pretty easy to use, but I don't like that the normal cycle doesn't let me choose a different spin cycle or drying temp. I was surprised that the complete time to wash and dry wasn't too long. On average a regular cycle takes about 2.5 hours. The two things I don't like, are if you put in too many clothes, the clothes in the center don't get completely dry so you have to do a second dry cycle, and the power cord is too small. I could not position the washer the way I wanted to because the cord is too short.

MAKING LIFE EASIER!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lets be honest, adulting is hard. watching kids, daily housework, cooking and cleaning, there is a lot to do and a lot to accomplish in a day. Well, Samsung has made one of those daily chores so much more easier. Introducing, the Samsung 2-in-1 washer and dryer combo. Granted units like these have been around for sometime now, but they were not as mainstream and not as efficient. I love that you can simply put your clothes in the machine and select the settings and that is it, your clothes come out clean and dry, this machine does the rest. It automatically based on the weight of the clothes pulls the right amount of detergent and selects the drying time and once everything is done sends you a notification that your clothes are ready.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Innovative for sure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been waiting for someone to create this two-in-one product for some time, so I was pleased that it was Samsung. I have the whole ecosystem of Samsung products from phones and wearables to TVs to robot vacuums. There is a little learning curve but the OS is mostly intuitive if you are used to Samsung SmartThings and it helps my previous washer was a Samsung. My wife, who isn't really good with tech, struggles so with the settings for different program types for cycles. Fun the hardware perspective, it seems pretty intuitive, but the lint trap is kind of awkward and the bulk reservoirs below create a few drops off mess no matter how careful you are. I think I'll be ordering the pedestal to help with having to get down on the floor for that part.
