Love the 2nd version of the combo!

The newer combo is much better then the 1st combo, which I purchased & after a year gave to my daughter & got the new combo. The filter system is much improved. The AI system helps a bunch. I live being able to run it from my phone & it connect to my smart home. The only reasons I give it 4 stars: the drawer that is stupid expensive, will not hold a normal size bottle of detergent or fabric softener so it is a catch all & the small filter behind the detergent dispenser is messy to clean & drain causing a lot of mess in the drawer below if a bowel is not pot in it to prevent the drawer from getting soaked.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Samsung All-In-One Washer Dryer. Model WD53DBA900HZA1.
Pro’s: All in one cycles for clothes. Single footprint in laundry room. No venting needed. Auto dispenser of soap and softener.
Con’s:
1. Twists clothes up like nothing we have ever seen. Jeans get so corkscrewed around other clothes, there is lots of ironing needed. I have never seen clothes so wrinkled so bad out of any machine ever.
2. Frequently will not progress from wash to dry cycle with an error message about cleaning the heat exchanger – Simple fix is pressing the start button. This cannot be done via the app despite the machine being connected via WiFi so if you’re out of the house it will not dry until you physically press the button.
3. Cleaning the drain is easy except the hose you have to drain does not extend past the door opening so water can go onto floor or into pedestal drawer.
4. Lint backet is huge and in three pieces that get cleaned.
5. Software is glitchy, requiring the machine to be unplugged once in a while.
6. Every 40 cycles for wash And dry you have to run a three-hour cleaning cycle for the wash portion and the Dryer portion.
7. If you stop the dryer to take something out it will not let you open the door, and there is no way to get out of the cycle to open it.

Washer and dryer aren’t as loud as other appliances I’ve used in the past! It dries my thick blankets in one cycle and leaves no wrinkles in any of my clothes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Combo Unit for our Family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer dryer combo has been a life saver for you our family. The capacity of the drum is big enough to wash lots of blankets or a king size comforter. I like all the advanced features of this washing machine. I can always tweak settings if I need to have a shorter drying cycle for example. Samsung also pushes updates to improve this unit on a regular basis. Very satisfied with drying performance!

Takes a while to dry but gets it done. Wrinkles depend on fabric. Plenty of capacity for large loads. Love the special auto cycles. Little to no vibration if you level it.
