I purchased this as a gift for my mom for Christmas. When she opened the box this past week to use for the first time, there were no beaters in the box.

I like KitchenAid products in general. I have had a KitchenAid Pro Stand Mixer for about 25 years and have had no problems. It still looks and runs just like it did the first day. Can't get much better than that. I hope this new hand mixer will last that long too.
