It's comfortable in your hand the grip is really good.
The 5 speed settings range from low to a medium high. It's not high power on low like my old mixer SO I can actually make my frostings with this one and not have powdered sugar flung all over my kitchen. Not have anything fling all over my kitchen actually, no matter what I'm making.
Also being able to adjust and lock the cord from one side to the other to keep it out of the way is a great feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was tired of dragging out my full size KitchenAid mixer anytime I needed to mix something, so I purchased the KitchenAid 5-Speed Ultra Power Hand Mixer for those moments when I don't need the capabilities of my large mixer. First off, I am absolutely loving the color of the mixer, which is the topping on the cake of this beauty. The hand mixer is very easy to put together and very easy to clean, two mandatory features I sought when researching hand mixers. The cord swivels for easy maneuverability. There are several speeds and they have been sufficient for my needs. I am very happy with this KitchenAid hand mixer and highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this hand mixer so that I don’t always have to drag out the stand mixer for simple recipes. This is exactly what I wanted. Easy to use and does a great job for those simple tasks. Love kitchenaid products.
