An essential and versatile tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this hand mixer, and I cannot believe I waited so long to get it! You see, I didn't think I needed one because I have the KitchenAid Professional Series Stand Mixer, which is huge, awesome and powerful - fantastic for making bread dough or whipping up a European buttercream. However, sometimes you're mixing a smaller amount and you want to use a different size or shaped bowl, and that's when this hand mixer becomes so much more userful! It's perfect for whipping cream and mixing batter because you can move it into all the space (you'll still have to scrape a little bit, of course), and cleanup is so much easier because you're just washing the beaters. The shade of blue is gorgeous as well, and I love that it matches my stand mixer. It's so much more affordable than the stand mixer, so if your budget is tight, this is a great tool to invest in.

My KitchenAid is GENTLE when needed - and can mix up a storm when required. I am 73 years old and have never had such a great appliance. Thank you!

Never thought with Kitchenaid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My received this as a Christmas gift because my husband knew the one I had broke down Thanksgiving day. Had to mashed the old fashioned way with a masher. Forgot how much I love a mixer. Anyway, One of the beaters is missing the little ring thing that holds the beater in place. I put them in like any other mixer I had before and started mashing my potatoes and the beater kept falling out when I lifted it up. Very disappointed especially with a kitchenaid
