[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 55-inch TV is a nice TV. The picture quality is awesome. Sometimes, though, it's so clear and crisp that shows look really fake. I don't really like it when it makes my TV shows look fake, which they are, but sometimes it makes the shows look bad due to feeling like you're on the actual set. I do really love how well the colors pop on screen. Everything is so bright and colorful. The remote and navigating on the home screen has taken some time to get used to. Overall, the TV is great and we love watching movies on it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Remote is the worse design I have ever seen, finding apps and your stations are almost impossible. You are required to set up samsung acct for tv to work which means give them all your personal info and sign away privacy rights. What little bit of manual that actually came with it has such tiny print that you cannot read it . Even Clarity of picture is only so so ,, not worth the hassle, stay away from this product

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback on the U8000H TV remote and interface.
Please know that Samsung’s privacy policies are designed to protect your personal information and ensure it’s handled responsibly.
We always request your consent before collecting any data, and we are committed to managing that information with the utmost care and transparency in accordance with our privacy guidelines.
Regarding the setup and navigation of your TV, there is a built-in guide you can access by going to Settings > Support > Tips and User Guides.
Next, if the image on your screen isn’t meeting your expectations, there are several settings you can adjust to improve the overall brightness and clarity of your screen.
First, try disabling certain energy-saving features that may be dimming the screen automatically. Go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving, then turn off Brightness Optimization, Energy Saving Solution, Motion Lighting, and/or Contrast Enhancer.
Next, adjust the Picture Mode to better match your viewing environment: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from the following: • Dynamic – Brighter and clearer for well-lit rooms • Standard – Balanced for most environments • Movie – Ideal for watching in a dark room • Eco – Designed for energy savings • Filmmaker Mode – Preserves the creator’s original intent
You can also manually adjust brightness by going to: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Brightness. Use the slider to set a level that suits your preferences (0–50).
We hope these tips help improve your viewing experience. If you need further assistance with setup or adjustments, feel free to contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun), or reach us via text anytime.
