[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture, easy to set up. Has all the bells and whistles you need for an enjoyable experience. I replaced a perfecty good, working 50" Samsung. Gave it to my daughter. She loves it. Just wanted a slightly larger screen for my sunroom. This is about the biggest we can use in the sunroom without blocking our view of the pool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tv. It’s actually my first 55 inch tv and I love it. I love watching movies and my shows on it. The picture is clear and the sound is massive. Brightness, contrast, clarity and the resolution are all superb.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality on the Samsung is excellent. It also offers a variety of programmed picture modes to change your view as well as individual brightness, etc controls. I naturally had to buy external speakers, but the speakers on the Samsung tv are superior to other brands I've purchased. They're just not suitable for quality sound. Once my Samsung external soundbar was connected, I could control the sound quality from the tv. I wasn't able to do this with my prior Roku tv external speakers. I'm not crazy about the volume control on the remote. I had to go to You Tube to figure out how to do it as the instruction manual didn't specify it. I'm using my TiVo remote to control the volume because of this. I'm able to install all of my streaming apps and easily organize them on the Samsung home screen with no problem. There are so many options to tweek picture quality, that I think just about anyone can find the view that pleases them. I've had numerous brands of televisions over the years, and overall, I would recommend the Samsung for picture quality, features, and ease of use.

Hard to set up for this very elderly person
