This TV went beyond my expectations. The picture is clear, bright and crisp. Great picture whether in the dark or daylight. The tv speakers are great too! It’s a whole lot of tv for a great price. The platform is easy to use as well. I am more than happy with this purchase!

Nice color—frustrating remote

Good clarity and color. I have chosen Samsung because of my experience and the reputation of the brand. I find the “new” style of remote control to be very cumbersome. I have researched, read the manual, checked the help menu on the TV to no avail. I cannot find any instructions on troubleshooting the volume level. The remote is not at all intuitive. Nice tv but a very poor design of the remote control.

This smart tv is a replacement for an older 43 inch Samsung tv but was not a smart tv. The difference is awesome. When purchasing it I was looking for Samsung TV again.

The Samsung U8000H has a great and bright screen, UI is fast, sound quality is good, and upscaling and contrast is pretty insane!

CONTRAST AND BRIGHTNESS

My last TV broke (not a Samsung) and needed a new TV for my room to replace it with. I am such a fan of Samsung so it was an easy decision for me to make buying another Samsung (we already have 3 Samsung TV's and computer monitor in our house). This new one is really nice, the picture brightness and contrast is so sharp I love it. The size 43" was a perfect fit for my bedroom too. I think I can say I am a fan of Samsung and will be for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great picture, good sound and excellent connectivity. Setup was simple and fairly fast. The remote is very responsive and takes a bit of acclimating.
