A few things to get used to

Overall looks great.
The quirks.
Fan seems to go into overdrive if temp is around 500 degrees. May have missed that in the documentation.
Temperature accuracy. Could be the thermometer I used but seems off by 10 or so degrees. Need to test a few more times
The good.
Steam bake chicken was excellent.
High temp eye of round also excellent. Important for the oven to retain heat after turning off.
Air fry seems to work well to. Just need to update temp by 5 to 10 degrees.
Overall a nice upgrade.

New stove

The burners light almost instantaneously and things cook quicker than my old stove, oven preheats quickly and things seem to bake evenly, cook top and oven clean easily. There are a couple things I’m not happy with….first is how easy the knobs on the stove turn. Little children can reach up and turn the stove on easily! Also, the bottom draw is hard to open and I usually have to use both hands. It is also very flimsy compared to my old stove, which was very sturdy. The draw is nice and big and holds a lot, but I would like it so much better if it was easier to open

Meets my expectations

Haven’t used the air fryer option for the oven, but will soon. Then I will be getting extra cabinet space when I donate my air fryer to our local thrift store. 🤗

Efficient and good looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this oven. The air fryer setting works so well. I was able to pass on my current air fryer to give me more space in the kitchen. The grates on top are slightly farther away from the flame than my previous stove but I and my family agree that we now have better control of the cooking temperature. My third stove in thirty years and finally one I am really happy with.

Oven heats up quickly, and burners nicely placed in comparison to my 12 year old Gallery stove (which is what I replaced). My Only complaint is I had to buy the middle grate. Providing only the griddle (which is really is too small and useless ) was a negative for me. My older model came with both. You might want to rethink this and provide the grate and make the griddle optional.

New Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We first bought this same basic model stove in 2008 and liked it enough to repurchase it again when we built our new house in 2013. We especially liked the temperature probe and used it all the time. The stove had been a good stove for the past 13 years but gave us a problem a couple of weeks ago. We liked it enough though, that we decided to repurchase the stove again. I am a homebuilder and had recommended this stove over the years to some of my clients. I called my appliance supplier to see if the same basic stove was still available, with the same features, which it was, and told them to send me one. The reasons we gave it 2 stars instead of 5 I listed here. The placement for the temperature probe in this new stove was moved from the front left side, to the top-back right side inside the oven. This makes it very difficult to impossible to plug it in, whether the oven is hot or cold. You have to be able to be on your hands and knees and bent way over to reach the outlet for the probe. Very difficult for people our age (70’s) ,which makes it useless. If you pre-heat your oven it is impossible for anyone, to reach it without being burned. “Small” changes were also made to the griddle. It is now just 5 1/2” wide which is a 33% reduction in width (8 1/4”) from the previous 2 Frigidaire stoves I had purchased, That means mini pancakes are about the only thing you can griddle. My suggestion to Frigidaire is, if the cost to include the probe and griddle features done properly is exorbitant, eliminate them altogether, rather than market them as useable features on this stove. If the price increase for them done correctly is $50 more, I would rather pay the extra than just get marketing lip service from you. In 2008 I shopped hard for a stove and selected the Frigidaire. Was happy with it, and 5 years later purchased it a second time, sight unseen, and wasn’t disappointed. I purchased this the 3rd time, site unseen, and discovered the hard way that Frigidaire had changed their Philosophy. Apparently the company has headed in another direction. From supplying good, reliable, mid-range appliances, to re-engineering good appliances to poor appliances for cost savings and marketing them as the “old standard”. Disappointed in you Frigidaire. Get yourselves back on track! I feel I can no longer trust a company I have been purchasing from for the past 55 years.
