The Sound of Perfection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung HW-Q800H soundbar is an audio lover's delight. From it's sleek design to it's jaw-dropping sound, you will experience next level sound from movies, music, and video games. The clarity is amazing, I put in a few different movies to test, and found that the smallest little details could be heard. From the creaking of the door to the Nun's office in The Blues Brothers, to the epic space battles in Return of the Jedi, the HW-Q800H makes everything sound better and clearer. I also decided to test it while playing various video games such as Battlefield 6, and it literally made me feel as if I was in the battle myself. Every bullet flying by me to the sound of the tanks rolling by, I was taken back by how in-depth the sound felt. When it came to music though, the HW-Q800H really shines. The music score by the legendary John Williams while playing the film Jaws really stood out making the film stand out even more as you hear every single note like you have never of heard it before. The design compliments any television, it is quite elegant and would easily go with a matching Samsung television or any other brand. It produces sounds not only from the front, but the top, and the sides, giving new meaning to the term "surround sound" and taking it all to the next level. The included subwoofer fits quite well on a nearby shelf or behind the television on the floor. It is not cumbersome at all and compliments the soundbar nicely by providing deep bass that you can feel. The remote is quite nice, just the right size, but I do wish it had light up buttons, however I don't find myself using it as much as I thought I would. Overall the HW-Q800H from Samsung is a high quality soundbar and subwoofer that gives you movie theater quality sound at a fraction of the price.

Perfect for home theaters and home cinemas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bass is very very good and punchy and I love it. The clarity on the soundbar is very clear and I hear the vocals perfectly. I never had an issue connecting it to Bluetooth or mainly my tv. Immersion is good. Soundstage is perfect. Over all I love it. Worth my money. Highly recommend for a home cinema.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sound bar is awesome and packs a huge for its size. This outperforms some 3.1 systems I’ve had.
The sound stage is large and more than fills up my room turned up 1/3 of the way. The mids and highs are clear and what you would expect from a solid center channel, or LCR.
The bass is also really impressive for such a small sub. I was initially concerned about lag with it being wireless but I haven’t noticed any yet! I’ve watched several action movies like The John Wick series and they really allowed this soundbar to shine.
If I had to pick a drawback I’d say the Dolby Atmos is barely noticeable but then maybe that’s the point. I don’t have really much negative to say about this product, I really like it and so will you.

Small bar but big sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Samsung HW-Q800H soundbar for a little over a week, and my first impression was how compact it is. The bar fit neatly in front of my TV without blocking the screen, and the subwoofer also has a small footprint. Setup was simple, with just power for each unit and the included HDMI/ARC cable to the TV. Even paired with my OLED, everything worked smoothly: both devices powered on together, the TV prompted sound calibration, and the soundbar and subwoofer were already paired. The physical controls are there, but the remote is not very intuitive, and the tiny scrolling display makes adjustments slow. Samsung’s Android app is much better, showing settings clearly and making the remote almost unnecessary. It offers multiple sound modes, a 7-band EQ in Standard mode, bass and treble controls in other modes, dialogue enhancement, room calibration, audio sync, and speaker balance adjustments. Performance is where the HW-Q800H really shines. Bass stays present and well integrated without sounding boomy or distorted, and music remained full and clear even at maximum volume. Overall, this system is truly plug-and-play, and its sound exceeds expectations for its size. I can overlook the limited EQ options because performance is excellent. My only complaint is that the power cord connections on both units feel loose and disconnect too easily. Would I buy it again or recommend it? Absolutely.

Crisp Sound and Great Bass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Samsung HW-Q800H a few weeks ago and it completely changed my TV setup. The first thing I noticed was how crisp and detailed the sound is, especially during movies and live sports. Voices sound very clear even at lower volume, and the subwoofer adds deep bass without sounding muddy. I also tried it with music and the surround effect honestly feels much bigger than I expected from a soundbar. Setup was straightforward and it paired with my Samsung TV almost instantly. The sound stays clean even when the volume is turned up, which was a huge upgrade from my TV speakers. Overall, I’m really happy with the quality and it feels worth every dollar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product was easy to install and has a great sound which fills the entire room.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are loving our new Samsung sound bar and subwoofer. They arrived packaged so well and in the most oddly shaped box I’ve ever seen! My son asked me to set it up that night, and I told him no, that I don’t know how to set up, it’s going to take me a long time, that’s a project for tomorrow. Well, he convinced me to open it up just to see and we had it set up in 15 minutes. It was so easy! The instructions were so clear and the sound is amazing. It has taken our movie nights to a whole new level. I could not recommend this enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is super easy to set up and pairs automatically and quickly with my Samsung TV. The subwoofer literally was plug and play once the soundbar was set up. I’m yet to mount it since it’s pretty heavy and I’ll need to mount it on a stud. The sound quality is incredible. It fills the room and truly makes you feel like you’re in the movie/show. The Q-Symphony feature is great because it adds another layer of 3D sound as well!
There’s been one minor issue with the soundbar turning off after a set amount of time when playing sound relayed from my TV through certain streaming platforms. I like the auto power off feature since I would never remember to turn it off otherwise, but it is a little annoying to have to manually turn it back on several times during a movie. However, this is just a bug that I’m sure will be fixed soon! It didn’t affect my rating because I could always just turn off this feature but choose not to.
Overall, I’m super impressed and now am considering buying another for my downstairs movie room.
