For the key selling point of the privacy screen, it is ok and does work as described, but it wouldn't be something you would use all the time, it does change how you also will see things straight on while you are using it, you would have to decide if you if you prefer this or privacy screen cover, overall it does work as described.
UI performance is a minor improvement of previous, Battery life sadly still just the same, I still get about 5 days, no different then when I started using the previous model when it was new. the OS does have some new usable features (new OS updates maybe the same on older models), the one I really like is creating modes, for Home, Travel and Work, but now you can much easier turn off apps for each mode, except just a few core Android apps. The camera does have some slightly better quality improvements.
Overall it is good, but mainly if you are down to having to charge your phone at the end of each day, and don't want to pay to have the battery replaced by third party. Again, the battery life is not increased over older models when they were new out of the box.
Only wish I could trade in my second (backup phone) S7 Active towards a newer phone.
