I traded in my paid off Samsung S23 Ultra and was able to uprgade it for a Samsung S26 Ultra. I took good care of my phone and was able to get a decent rebate for the new one I upgraded to. The process was easy, and I was able to seamlesly uprade my service to a better one to use with my new phone.
If I had to do again I wouldn't buy it. They made things that were easy to do with the S21 more difficult.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
