Too many differences!!!!

Changing from a Galaxy S20 5G to a Galaxy S26 5G was the worse thing I could have done! A third of my contacts didn't transfer over, all of the Groups I had made lost their contacts, the special ring tones i had for my family and friends vanished, the way to delete items changed for the worse, all the passwords for my credit cards and MyChart were gone, couldn't get PlayStore or Internet, plus other things I needed help to fix. I still can't send a new group text to a group I have already made in my contacts. I have been to the phone center store to get help and they have helped with most of these items but I still have some issues. In my opinion, instead of making this new phone easier to use, you have made it more difficult!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had the s22 and I loved how great the camera was. The camera on the s26 does not take as good of pictures with the default settings.
It does not have very many advancements from the s22.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the phone but the trade in process is slow. I've been using the new phone for weeks now but my trade in, is still in limbo...

The phone was easy to learn, but I don't like the way for shutting the power off.

Response from ATT.comBy AT&T CARE - KevinJuly 22, 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience. We are glad to hear that you found the Samsung Galaxy S26 easy to learn. We understand that the new power-off method can be frustrating. By default, pressing and holding the side button activates the digital assistant instead of the power menu. To make shutting down easier, we recommend trying either of these quick steps:

Use the buttons: Press and hold the Side button and the Volume Down button at the same time until the power menu appears.
Change the setting: Go to Settings > Advanced features > Side button, and change the "Press and hold" option to "Power off menu." This will allow you to turn off the phone using just the side button like your previous device.

If you have any questions, you can contact us via phone at 800‑331‑0500, or for a faster response, you can DM us on any of our official social media support channels:
