[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The S26 is definitely a welcome change from the fold in the middle of the screen and clarity when reading and typing is remarkable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new A26 has many functionalities and features that are easily navigated with Samsung AI assistance. Makes usage even easier for the customers whome may be handicapped or elderly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Galaxy AI is awesome: it suggests helpful actions automatically and makes photo edits super easy – just tell it what to fix! The camera takes sharp, bright pics even in low light, the phone feels fast and smooth for everything I do, battery lasts all day, and the screen looks vibrant outdoors. Love the Cobalt Violet color – it looks sleek and catches the light nicely. Solid upgrade overall! Highly recommend this compact flagship!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a fan of ai in general, didn't buy the phone because of the galaxy ai features. Not having qi 2 magnets is a huge misstep. Phone is fine otherwise.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always owned the A Series version but I'm really interested in seeing what the S 26 can do. I'm not all that tech savvy but I've taken pictures and videos at concerts with my A 53, so I'm excited to see what the S 26 and with the AI I'll see what I can do with the pictures. So Monday will be a good test to see what I can do on the S 26 the day after the concert.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moving eSIMs -- Super easy. I was nervous at first because the specs didn't list eSIMs, or if they did it was 1 eSIM and 1 physical SIM. For the record, at least of U.S. phones, they both can be used as eSIMs. I use two different carriers on my unlocked phone and it worked great!
Galaxy AI -- It just keeps getting better and better each year. Galaxy AI is super easy to use. My most common uses are for identifying plants and bugs, I do a lot of gardening and landscaping. The second is for doing phone functions hands-free such as starting/stopping whatever I'm listening to, calling/texting, setting timers, etc.
Form factor -- I traded my S24 Ultra for the regular S26. It's so wonderful, my phone now fits in my pockets, I can do everything one-handed, and it doesn't feel like I've been holding up a brick after holding it for an extended period. My main gripe is that I wish Samsung would consider making a small form-factor phone, even if it's thicker, WITHOUT making it feel like a compromise. That means including all the nice Ultra cameras, RAM, and storage. Second gripe is the camera positioning. They are on the side of the phone. This causes a few issues -- 1) It does not lay flat on a table, it wobbles a lot. 2) It's difficult to properly frame taking photos of documents, or to get a level shot of anything.
Still, the customizability, especially with adding Good Lock is what I love about these phones. Galaxy AI!
