No difference than a v sound

We cannot tell the difference between tv sound and this sound bar. The voices are not clear and the sound is not good at all. We thought we’d be blown away by it, instead we are extremely disappointed. We have tried different connections and nothing seems to help. I wish we never got this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate you taking a few moments to review the Samsung HW-B400F Soundbar.
To improve your experience, try using Dynamic Range Control (DRC). DRC lets you apply dynamic range control to Dolby Digital tracks. With DRC turned on, loud sounds will be reduced.
1) Turn off your Soundbar.
2) While the Soundbar is off, press and hold the Sound Mode button on the remote control for 6 seconds until you see “DRC ON” shown on the display.
3) To turn off DRC, repeat steps 1 and 2 above.

Terrific sound and easy setup

Compact sound system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm just getting up to speed on this new install, but I say that I'm very happy on the compact nature of the system. I also love the tonal quality of the treble and bass. I'm using it in a studio/music room where I'll practice but also invite other musicians over for "jamming" sessions. I'm a big fan of Samsung TV's and I've had great luck with every Samsung Sound system I've paired up with the TV's.

Dialog still an issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound bar does great at amplifying and emersion of the viewer in sound. The main purpose of the purchase was to get a sound bar that would amplify dialog over the always too loud sound effects found in movies and inconsistent quality in streaming services. If the bar was better at this, it would be ideal.
