Loved Loved Loved this build. The builds seem to get better and better. Thank you and please don’t stop pushing the boundaries. In my opinion the challenging the build the greater the reward when completed.
This was a build I’d do again and again. Not a fan of technic cars so I was hesitant to try an Icons car but it was definitely worth it and now I’m on the hunt for more
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love to hear about builders branching out of their comfort zone! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.
One of worst to build. Parts didn’t snap in as they should have. Easily falls apart. Too many teeny parts. Not Lego quality! Model T not Lego quality either.

We're sorry you're having trouble keeping your set together. If you'd like a hand troubleshooting the build or if you find that any pieces aren't holding together as they should, feel free to give us a shout at LEGO.build/Service so we can help!
The build and features of the kit are amazing (aside from the headlights, which come off as a bit tacky, and the fenders, which don't work very well), but it's fragile - when I put it in a cloth bag to take it to my office, a lot of the hood fell apart and needed reconstruction. The bumpers also require constant readjustment. Compared to the Porsche that's in the same series, it's a high maintenance proposal...then then again, since it's a Jaguar, one wonders if Lego is just trying to faithfully replicate the actual Jaguar ownership experience. Fun build, though.

Beautifully put together set. I put together the lamborghini countach and thought that one was neat but this is way superior. The way it all opens up, the soft top and the history behind it is all super cool.
I am sorry to do this, but I am 78+ years old and I do not need the stress. I have built many Lego sets from different themes. This one is so maddening, I will probably not finish it, and just sock it away. For the first time with any Lego, I had to trim a part to fit. But the major issue is that trying to put parts or subassemblies on is a game of Whack-a-Mole. Parts pop off constantly, necessitation backtracking through the instructions to fix. Then while fixing one issue, other parts keep flying. This will be my last Lego set other than Technic, which do not routinely experience this problem.

Oh no, please reach out to LEGO.build/Service. We'll be happy to take a closer look with you and help you troubleshoot your build!
This is the first Lego product I've returned. My last project was the 3000-piece Monet, which came together beautifully.
I think Lego was either too ambitious with the E-Type, rushed it out the door, or both. Sections aren't well supported and come apart easily (the hood being a good example). Trim pieces have to be squished into tight spaces, which inevitably knocks something else off. After rebuilding again and again, I hit the "return" button.
