Not a favorite. Interesting but not exceptional. Use of bricks was a positive feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

10 swearing fits, 1 cool skeleton

This build is exceptionally fragile. During assembly, it felt like it was constantly on the verge of collapsing several times. Adding one piece caused entire sections to cascade down, forcing me to rebuild the same parts repeatedly. The structural stability during the build process leaves a lot to be desired. And there were moments of pure frustration when I almost gave up, if you plan to tackle this, set, handle it with extreme care and once it is together, do you not touch it! Find a safe low traffic display spot and leave it there. It is beautiful once it's finished, but the journey to get there is definitely a rocky road.

We're sorry you had trouble keeping your La Catrina together. If you'd like a hand troubleshooting the build or if you find that any pieces aren't holding together as they should, feel free to give us a shout at LEGO.build/Service so we can help!

Recently purchased this set and finally had some spare time to assemble. I absolutely adore the finished product and couldn’t resist giving her my own signature touch. Highly recommend for the upcoming holidays and beyond.

I just love this build so much! It was wayyy better than I originally thought. She is so beautiful. I love all the little details on her movement, hip twists, arms etc. I decorated her with extra skeleton minifigures I had. I definitely recommend it

Let Down

Was super excited for this project; she was to be the centerpiece of larger project. From the jump, this project has been a pain. Not all the directions made sense, but if you've ever built before, you could figure out what's supposed to go where. Things were going fine until the third level. The directions became especially hard to follow and, for the first time ever, not all the pieces were included. (Specifically Bag #9 was missing several pieces.) Despite the missing pieces, I was still able to build. I used pieces left from other projects...until it came time to place her head on her shoulders. It needs a ball-joint. I don't have a spare one. So, I went online to order...and it's not available. Even if it were available, it would still take over a week to send. Not great as it's almost October. Now I'm stuck with a headless lady with a wonky midsection. Total waste of money. I'm sad and mad...and every time I look at the part I built, I get angrier.

We're sorry to hear your build wasn't enjoyable, but glad you let us know. Please give us a call or chat at LEGO.build/Service. We'll be able to get your missing pieces requested and would like to get more information about the faulty building instructions as well! It's true the parts take a bit to deliver as they come from our warehouse in Denmark, but we'll get them to you as quickly as possible!

My Very First Lego build and I challenged myself to do it in 24hrs.
I engage in the Celebration of Dia De Los Muertos, so this
Will be an addition to my displays.
She came out great, love the colors.

Beautiful

Probably one of the most beautiful builds.
Only complaint is when I move the arms, the chest piece has a tendency to fall off. Other than that, definite 5 stars.
