Beautiful Set

I have been a Lego collector for decades and I absolutely love this set. It’s a fun build and gorgeous when complete. The fact it’s an Ideas set makes it even more special.

I had a lot of trouble with the pieces not fitting correctly. A lot of the pieces seemed to large for the brick I was to put it in. I had a lot of problems with it falling apart. I’ve been building for years never had problem like this. I had to use glue to make the pieces stay in place ( not happy about) .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Frustrating Build

I completely agree with the other critical reviews. This was an extremely frustrating and finicky build and leaves no room for errors. I had to redo the skirts multiple times because they continued to fall off every time I added on a new layer. Overall, the build is extremely unstable. I wanted to quit numerous times.It is a very beautiful piece of artwork, but has been the worst lego build I have done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

She's magnificient!

I was excited last year to see Lego delve into Dia de los Muertos. La Catrina is the icing on the cake. From the pics, I thought she was beautiful, but now that I've built her, I see what an amazing design she actually is. Her neck moves, her shoulders move, her arms move, her fingers move, her waist moves....you can pose her in so many ways. Kudos to the fan designer and the lego team. I typically build a lot of buildings, but I absolutely love her. Please do more Dia de los Muertos next year!

I wanted a Lego for Halloween. La Catrina immediately caught my eye. It was fun to build and looks spectacular. Kids and grandkids think is "so cool!"

The quality of this set is great, and the build was really fun without being overly difficult. I’ve been a LEGO fan for years, so I was excited when they released a Día de los Muertos-inspired build like this one. I would love to see LEGO create a male version in the future, either as a companion piece or in celebration of Día de los Muertos.
I have noticed that LEGO prices have gone up over the years, but honestly, so has the cost of just about everything else. Overall, I really enjoyed this build and would definitely recommend it to other LEGO fans.
