Horrible downgrade!

This is an absolute useless piece of plastic. Bring back the Bluetooth capabilities! The S26 is such a downgrade just because of this.

Let's start with using the pen on the S26U with no case. Works for the most part. A bit jumpy, and no better than if I was wearing gloves trying to use my finger. Now if you add in a magsafe case, forget it. You will get a notification that there is a magnetic accessory detected and it will hardly work on the screen. Maybe one or two taps before its not aligned and glitches out. Then on top, it doesn't have almost any of the capabilities from my last one that came with my S22U
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheap terrible s-pen easily breaks in half - JUNK!

Fragile pen broke in half inside phone and now the tip half is stuck in there. Tried all the tips on the interwebs. Can't get it out. Now either going to have to live with no pen or spend more money to get it removed and more money to order a replacement. This, combined with the enormous camera bulge make purchasing the S26 Ultra the worst purchase I have ever made from Samsung. If I could get my S25 Ultra back I would in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't have even upgraded to the 26 ultra if I knew you couldn't take pictures with the pen anymore. Worst downgrade ever.

Just get rid of it already

Just get rid of it the S pen use to be such a great tool. Now it's useless, falls out on its own, has to be put in a certain way, and doesn't alert anymore when it's not there. No Bluetooth, not remote compatibility, and no features. Such a downgrade there's no reason to buy the ultra now you can get all the same with the mid grade phone. Disappointing isn't the right word I'd say ripped off would be more applicable here. Fill the hole and just say we want more money for less already. If someone wants to come up with a phone with a Bluetooth pen I'd gladly switch, and try it instead. Also why leave the button that does nothing now makes no sense.

Terrible design and quality

I’ve had this phone for less than a week, and the stylus already broke under extremely normal use conditions. The phone slipped out of my pocket while I was seated on a gym bench, so it fell from roughly 1.5 feet, not a significant drop at all. It was also in a protective case at the time.
Despite this minimal impact, the pen popped out and snapped, breaking at the curved section. That kind of failure from such a minor drop strongly suggests a weakness in the material or overall design, not misuse. A device at this price point should be able to withstand everyday situations like a short fall from a seated position, especially when protected by a case.
This appears to be an issue of poor durability, either the plastic used is too fragile, or the design of the pen (particularly at that curved point) creates a structural weak spot. Under normal expectations, this shouldn’t happen after such limited use and such a low-impact incident.
