[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was considerably better both for the ease of brushing ans also the after-brush feeling. It was really thorough and felt good after brushing. Product's reach within my mouth was much better.

My teeth are so clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free as part of a product test. After using this Sonicare for the past couple of weeks, I can honestly say that it has made a difference in my oral health. Not having prior experience with devices like Sonicare, it took me a time or two to get used to it but it is very easy to use.
First off, I love the small brush head. It makes it so easy to get to every spot in my mouth, even way back behind my back teeth. I love that it has different levels of intensity so I can adjust it to what works best for me. It even has a program that starts low and increases intensity over time to allow you to acclimate to it which is super helpful.
The instructions show an image of the teeth organized into zones so you can concentrate on one area at a time. The brush has a set time for each segment and gives you cue when it's time to move to the next section. I really like this feature because it helps me spend enough time to get my teeth really clean.
The handle is designed in a way that fits very comfortably in my hand and makes it easy to control my brushing. I did find out that it's messy to start the brush before you put it in your mouth or if you leave it running when you take it out of your mouth to spit. I have quickly gotten used to it and now it feels very natural to use.
My favorite thing about using this product is how clean and healthy my mouth feels. It reaches in to all the tight, hard-to-reach spots so everything gets cleaned. It really breaks up build up. Even brushing several times a day with my manual brush did not make my mouth feel this clean. I am really happy with this product so far.

A very good toothbrush for the price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disclosure : I received this toothbrush as part of a Philips product test program. This did not influence my words in anyway.
The toothbrush has the signature Phillips clean mouth feeling, with some of the bells & whistles from nicer models removed. The build quality of the toothbrush doesn't feel as premium (but I do like that the body is black, unlike their Prestige models - it actually matches the toothbrush head). It also lacks some of the attachments other models have, such as a carrying/charging case or an additional brush head.
But the clean is there. That's the core part of it - this is an ideal toothbrush for someone that wants the feeling that brushing with a Sonic toothbrush provides. The motor is powerful, the brush holds well, and the battery life is phenomenal. I'm someone that doesn't tend to use some of the other brush modes, I stick to either standard or the deep clean for more brush time, but I haven't really felt a need to change modes to the longer clean at all since the standard one does a good job cleaning. The brush head that it comes with is not my favorite however - I do prefer the A3 brush heads. I was unable to swap during my time with the product.

Great for sensitive teeth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try this electronic ultrasonic toothbrush because I have sensitive teeth and it hurts too much when I used to use an electric toothbrush before. I like how this one has a setting for sensitive teeth, as it isn't as harsh as the normal setting. It also has 3 speed options for you to choose from. I use mine in the lowest setting. I also like that the toothbrush has the visible pressure alert light and vibration to let you know if your brushing too hard. This is awesome because I do brush hard and it helps me in correcting this behavior. I really like this toothbrush

Gentle and thorough gum cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own and was using an older Sonicare toothbrush. Sometimes I'd experience gum irritation and my dentist would advise me to switch to a softer, manual toothbrush for a while. This helped my gums, but made brushing less fun & seemed like my teeth weren't as clean.
So when I got the chance to product test this Sonicare for free, I was excited. I've been using it for 2 weeks now. I really appreciate the setting varieties as I'm able to use a more sensitive one. The bristles on this model are soft and fan out to gently clean along my gum line.
Of course, the 2 minute timer is handy in ensuring that I get that thorough cleaning that I miss when just using a manual brush.
I've only had to charge this unit once so far. It's easy to use when others might still be sleeping as it's quiet. The only downside so far is the feel of the materials used in this version as they seem to be less premium. So I wonder how durable it will be over time and daily usage.

Great clean but missing a 3rd mode
on April 25, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Sonicare user for years. This brush cleans very well, so I've been happy with it. I like its features such as the intensity settings, brushpacer indicator, and brush head replacement notification. The battery life has been great so far too. The sensitive mode is nice, but I primarily used it on clean. I was surprised there wasn't a 3rd mode. I wish it had a gum health/deep clean mode. I received this product free as part of a product test.
