I upgraded from an Apple Watch to the venu x1. I love this watch and the insights it gives me for running. I love how I don’t have to think about my workouts and it just tells me what to do.
Purchased this watch to replace the excellent Fenix 8 47mm amoled model. Functions are the same in a significantly lighter watch with larger screen. Fewer buttons make the Venu easier to use for me. The touchscreen is responsive and easy to read in bright sunlight. Very customizable.
I've been wearing the X1 for about 3 weeks now and I'm really enjoying it. The screen is bright and easy to read even while running. The voice commend is very helpful while navigating through the functions. My last Garmin was a fenix 7S and this one feels noticeably lighter. It also doesn't get in the way while doing yoga. Every other watch caused friction while binding my hands during certain poses. Not this watch. The X1 is awesome!
Good watch, but communication with WiFi or phone is frustrating and the nylon strap is too small. I have to take the strap out of its turn over socket to take the watch off and putting on takes frustrating time
I purchased the Garmin Venue X1 with high expectations, as I am a big fan of Garmin watches and compare them favorably to the Apple Ultra 2. I was excited about the release of the Venue X1. Upon receiving it, I found it was very well packaged, charged, and ready to go. There are several things I love about the Venue X1, including the clarity and size of the screen, as well as its overall lightweight design. However, I was disappointed with the quality; the watch felt inexpensive, especially given its price. As someone who can be clumsy, I often check my Venue X1 to see if I've accidentally damaged it. I questioned its durability. Ultimately, I returned the Venue X1 and went back to my Garmin D2 Mach Pro. I hope that future versions of the Venue X1 will address the issues I've mentioned, which I know have been shared by other customers as well.
I love the screen. It's the best Garmin watch screen they've ever made. There are only two buttons. It should have at least two more. Two total is nowhere near enough. It makes everything difficult to do on the watch.
