Alpha/Beta level product with potential

Alpha/Beta product that could live up to its potential. The design is striking but the automated concept is not fully baked. The app is useless and profiles are painful to configure only from the one button scroll/click wheel. Volumetric brewing is way off. As a semi automatic espresso machine it is good. But any of the promised profile/app/fully automatic features are missing. Future updates will be crucial to long term success.
Foamed milk is next level and easy to achieve great results.
2 minute heat up is fantastic. And multiple shots with minimal lag between them.
As with all espresso the coffee grind is key to getting good results.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only had one day to test, but all the shots came out really large, 8-12oz! I may be doing something wrong but definitely not the first impression I was hoping for.

Another poor launch at the expense of preorders

The machine has many bugs on the interface and also comes with no profiles through app. The delays between pulling an espresso ranges from 6-11 seconds the steam delays 7-15seconds. The screw on the drain boiler was dripping water and not righted which should have a warning sticker to make sure it’s right before adding water. Lastly to promise a profile and not deliver on an app is poor quality. Also the dial is to sensitive and should have a setting to make it less responsive or more. Many other things but that’s a good info. Don’t forget the units bug and creating profiles.

First try, won't even pull a correct espresso shot.

We are super disappointed in this espresso machine. We got it for our office, and the first pull, which should have been the most basic setting for espresso, pulled an 8 second shot. We tried VARIOUS nice espresso grounds, and it kept pulling 8 second shot that tasted like rocket fuel. Very disappointed as this was supposed to be easy for beginners and nerds alike!

Went from a Gaggia Classic to this and it's exactly what I wanted. It's like the tricked out Gaggias the DIY coffee geeks make with all the sensors and gauges and everything, but without the effort and so user friendly. It's the Mac of espresso machines. An actually noticeable improvement in quality and taste of my espresso. It was that one last step needed for my drinks to taste 3rd wave coffee shop quality. Absolutely worth it.
