Quite disappointed because I haven't

Quite disappointed because I haven't been able to use it? Because I have your grinder the Ode Brew Grinder but it is not compatible to be able to grind coffee for espresso and now I have to buy another grinder to be able to use my espresso machine.
So far not great. Paired with the opus 2, I haven't had a decent shot. Followed recommendations, and so far terrible. Hope to keep learning and fine tuning. At the moment second guessing picking this machine.
I bought this when it was in development and maybe I got shipped an early product, but it is doesn't work consistently.
Once in a while, it might manage to pull a shot within the 25-35 second range and then when I make another one right away following the same exact workflow, it takes over a minute plus. It's unreliable. Sometimes the machine freezes when pulling a shot, all you see is the meter at 0 with no movement. The only way to fix is a hard reset by unplugging the power.
The boiler randomly heats up when no shot is being made and a lot of water goes into the drip tray which fills up quickly and needs changing pretty often after 3-4 shots.
Had an initial 30 min call to diagnose and call ended with the problem not being fixed. I have been talking to their support team for over 2 months via email/chat and they keep asking the same copied and pasted (scripted) questions as if it's a different person requesting for support. Have requested for escalation help and have not received any.
Absolutely love this espresso machine! First of all, it's a beautiful looking machine that's sleek and easy to clean. The amount of control and consistency for each brew has been exceptional, and this machine makes the process of making coffee a pleasant experience.
I will note that out of the box, there are issues with the volumetric mode due to the offsets in the default settings being far too low. It essentially dispenses only a 1:1 ratio instead of the expected 2:1. This is easily resolved by adding +20ml to the volumetric offsets in the settings, but it is annoying that it isn't calibrated correctly. After that tweak it works fairly well, however I personally find manually timing it to work better for my work flow.
