After getting it dialed in I love my Series 1!!! Its been a joy to use the only negative that I have would be that its setup to pour water after the shot for an Americano I just work around that and add mine before.

Right out of the box

Right out of the box it made great lattes using fresh preground coffee. Since I’m a latte person I had to ask my barista son/daughter in law what a good espresso shot should taste like(I had no reference point) they both said the ESP1 tasted great using the double walled basket and preground beans. I have since recieved my Opus2 grinder and am waiting on beans that I had ordered. Looking forward to dialing in the grinder/ beans for my ESP1. If I need help I’ll let you know! Thanks Fellow team!

The espresso taste bitter and super water down with the standard setup also the personalized mode didn't fix the problem to be honest I don't think that is worth the money at all

I just want to say that I really enjoy the Espresso Series 1. It's a great machine and you should be proud of what you have developed. So, while I have some issues below, please know that overall, I think it's a great product.
Thanks for making it!
1. The brew head rinse is terrible. It seems to be a software issue, because it works fine if a hard power off is done, but then stops working the next time.
2. The profiles are nice, but how do I trigger one as a one time use? I have to activate it and then press the brew button, but then the next person comes along and has to know to change it back. It would be easier if could be triggered from the menu rather than having to activate it, wait for the menu to come back, and then press the brew button. Or maybe I am missing how it works?
3. There doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the stream wand rinse time?? which is weird, and its very wasteful as it uses more water than the espresso shot uses.
4. I really miss my bluetooth scale connectivity. I have a bookoo scale thats going to waste.
5. I am sad that the top doesn't warm the cups, its not a big deal, but it would have been nice.
6. That chrome finish on the brew head is tough to keep clean. . .
