Super consistent, makes it very easy to create great coffee

After some adjusting of the volumetric offset, this thing is sooooooo consistent. We have been pulling 36 Gram extractions basically dead on every time. We also got some test tubes that hold exactly 18 Grams of coffee, so now being able to just pour the coffee without measuring, and then hit run and trust it will give us 36 Grams out every time is amazing. The coffee tastes great, the tea/hot water function is super easy, and it's overall just a fantastic machine. It is exactly as complicated as we want it to be, and I honestly don't want to go further to hit the point of "expert" coffee anyway.

It just works.

Overall, this is an amazing machine. Before this, I had a Rancilio Silvia with a custom microcontroller to control pressure and temperature. In theory, they both had a lot of the same features on paper, but this machine just works.
There are definitely a few cons — the interface is laggy, and it was released with a lot of promised software features that haven't materialized yet. It also doesn't work with VST baskets, and portafilter compatibility is a little lacking. But all in all, it's a fantastic, beautiful machine that makes delicious coffee.

Honestly, this is the best value out of all the machines I’ve owned previously. the fast heat up time was a feature I didn’t realize I needed until I actually had it.

First try, won't even pull a correct espresso shot.

We are super disappointed in this espresso machine. We got it for our office, and the first pull, which should have been the most basic setting for espresso, pulled an 8 second shot. We tried VARIOUS nice espresso grounds, and it kept pulling 8 second shot that tasted like rocket fuel. Very disappointed as this was supposed to be easy for beginners and nerds alike!

I’m enjoying my espresso series one. The build quality is very solid. Pulling a shot is straightforward. I’m particularly impressed with the quality of the foam when making a latte. My only niggling feedback is that there aren’t many suggestions for how to handle out of parameter situations-such as what to do if your water is too soft.

proper upgrade

A fantastic machine. I upgraded from a Breville BE that I'd be using for 7 years. Across the board it feels like a meaningful upgrade. I appreciate the heat up time which is crazy fast and the tech that allows profiling but these are features like a toy, fun to play because I'm so excited to have them. Ultimately for anyone switching from a Breville, the milk frothing is so vastly superior in both result and flow it's night and day. the materials are higher quality, it's quieter. almost all positives so far.

New to espresso making, very happy I chose Fellow, great for a beginner, so much room to grow the hobby with this machine!
My experience so far is overwhelming's positive. Great experience considering it is a brand new product line.
Fellow gave good communication about the pre-order delay due to quality assurance.
Fellow promptly replaced an included accessory with manufacturing issue.
Had some issue with yield being low, but they read my mind and released a YouTube video on volumetric dosing setting adjustment which solved my problem precisely.
Really shows that Fellow care about its customers.

Beautiful, delicious, and consistent

I worked as a barista over a decade ago and have dreamed of having a high quality an espresso machine in my home since, but in my experience all previous non-commercial machines are horrible - they constantly break and neither the espresso nor the steamed milk are very good. When I first heard of this machine being in development I pre-ordered it immediately given the description of the design intention and my faith in the brand. It has exceeded my expectations so far. The aesthetic is impeccable, the user experience very satisfying, and the quality of the espresso and the steamed milk has been excellent and very consistent. Highly recommend.
